Yup. BeastKeeper is wrong. Everyone here is wrong.



The way they treat the ice crew is endemic of how they treat the entire organization. It is like a microcosm of how the treat the fans and other long time employees.



Yes, it is probably ridiculous to be talking about "girls that just shovel the snow". Cause they never made anyone feel welcome, they never had a hand in welcoming kids to the UC, the never entertained at all.



So, yeah. The fact that it is up to 5 pages tells me people care.

Last time I checked, there are plenty of places to talk about hockey and Blackhawks hockey. This is related to personnel in the organization, so I thought it deserved its own thread. The blog I linked looks like it gathered looks, as well as Yanina's facebook page.



What's the problem?



There are certainly other places for you to contribute. If not, so be it.

First of all BeastKeeper is not wrong, I don't care who you think you talked to. Second, since you don't contribute to any of the numberous threads which do pertain to the on ice product you are seen as noting but a troll. So really memberj, laugh all you want but in reality it is you who is worthy of the laughs.



And keep your "we're all Hawks fans" shit for kindergarden. Being a Hawks fans does not preclude anyone from being an asshole.

memberj - I would think that by reading the posts you will see that these are not just "puck bunnies" that we could care less about. As RK stated he was originally there for hockey and he became friends with some of the girls over time.

This whole thread is about the organIzation as a whole and how they treat their employees and fans - with no respect or regard. This is about the organIzation doing what is RIGHT for these girls and not treating them as garbage.



Clearly if this was just some puck bunny style thread it wouldn't be up to 5 pages nor would people be so passionate about seeing their favorite Ice Crew member being gone. Bottom line is many of us as STH have built relationships with these girls and they greet us EVERY time we are at the UC or other Blachkawk sanctioned event. tvltvre and RK are probably the two most recognized people the girls always say hello to - and jakobeast - pre-haircut.



I also do have a VERY personal connection and first hand information into what is going on with the Ice Crew. How would you feel if something you so TRUELY loved doing purely for the interaction with people and your sheer passion for the sport and skating ripped away from you in a moments notice with no explanation whatso ever only to leave you wondering "what did I do to deserve this". Well this is what I am watching unravel before my very eyes.



RK, eruns, jakobeast, BHP, tvltre, etc - you all know these girls as well as I do and I thank you for your support of the Ice Crew member I have a connection to. You all know how deeply hurt she is by this and she does truly miss all of you. This is the start of new things for her.

I suggest if you are going to last here you sit back and read for awhile. Understand that some here have been STH's for decades and know a vast majority of people and resources within this organization. Most aren't "guessing" at topics or information they know.



We are all aware of what we won, trust me---

Now you know who I am and since I haven't missed a home game in about 5 years you can feel free to say hi if you see me walking the lower concourse in the UC.

Do you think the ice crew girls will ever come out publicly and say what happened and what went down? Or is it really bad stuff that is personal and will never come out? Also, not sure if any of you saw this yet but there is a new Facebook group named "Save Yanina" - although it's too late.

Not sure if they could publicly say anything. I know one girl who was forced out cannot say much publicly as she works with a returning Ice Crew member who is the new Captain. So she has to stay tight lipped about things so as to keep a good work relationship.

From what I do know Yaninna is not going quietly.
