Team 1 for fantasy. Passing TDs are usually 4 points in most leagues and passing yards 0.25. Thus Fields rushing ability means he will have the edge giving his rushing yards and rushing TDs are 0.1 and 6 points respectively. McCaffery is better than Jacobs giving he is a dual threat and stands to have more combined yards. Adams and Diggs is probably a wash.
Lol wut? You think fields is gonna get more passingTDs than Mahomes? Wow

The resigning will determine that. He'll want a good payday which means he's earned it if still here. You argue just to argue and state the obvious when by extension it's unquestionably been covered. The parameter is an easy one to justify.
If we re-sign him then we'll see what kind of money he gets which will determine if the #32 was worth it or not.

LOL, that's all implied because we know he won't re-sign here for backup money. Please stop the silly posts, trying to be right by using something you've already been told.

We obviously know he won't sign for less than starter money. The hedge isn't the amount he signs for, because we know he won't take backup money, but if Poles finds somebody else he would prefer there. Obviously another fail scenario is that he doesn't get offered starter money, leaves and the trade was simply a fail. The last would be if Poles offers him a good deal and he leaves anyway. That would clearly devalue the trade with just one good year to show for it.

Nope. Fields was at 20 ppg last year with only 17 passing TDs while Mahomes was at 25 ppg. The point was Fields rushing yards and rushing TDs are worth more than Mahomes passing yards and passing TDs in fantasy on a one for one basis.

So if Moore helps Fields improve his passing yards and passing TDs a bit then he can outscore Mahomes even with less passing stats because of superior rushing stats.

Based on 2022 PPR scoring:

Team 1- QB6, RB2, WR3
Team 2- QB1, RB3, WR4
Team 3- QB7 (Per game), RB18, WR1 (per game)
Team 4- QB2, RB14, WR1

Based on 2023 PPR projections:

Team 1- QB6, RB2, WR5
Team 2- QB1, RB7, WR6
Team 3- QB5, RB17, WR2
Team 4- QB2, RB14, WR1

The weight on these positions is RB, WR, QB in order. So, team 1 having the highest scoring RB last year, despite him being traded midseason and with CMC being decently projected ahead of the other teams' RBs this year, I'd pick that team for sure. Adams could easily be in the top 3 WRs (Jefferson, Kupp if healthy are definitely top 2). Then basically, I trust Fields staying healthy over Lamar staying healthy.

I was hoping for Pocic in free agency but he must not have fit their profile or he was happy in Cleveland. I feel 100% better about Patrick backing up Whitehair at center than Mustipher backing up Patrick.

I’m not sure Patrick was ever 100 percent last year. Plus, Kramer is a wild card. How much has he improved and has he added some strength year over year? He has the athleticism they look for in a prospect.

Another guy I’m curious about is Kellen Diesch.
He’s long at 6’ 7” and super athletic too. It would be awesome if he’s improved enough to push Borom.

Diesch has a RAS score of 9.8.

I have to pay 42% taxes. ☹️☹️☹️
Does that include retirement and health insurance? It probably does as Germany has a national insurance scheme that is drawn from payroll deductions. Also you are only paying 42% on a portion of that income, not the whole thing.

If so that's not really out of line with an upper middle class American, when you factor in state, federal, and local taxes as well as health insurance and retirement contributions.

Pocic has said that he didn’t want to move his family out of Cleveland & that they loved it there.

It's frustrating hearing how much salary cap we we're gonna be sitting on this year then we barely do anything with it. I get playing it smart and picking and choosing but 1 or 2 players on 1 year deal gambles would have been worth it. Hell I'd be willing to offer a 3rd and see if commanders would take it It's a risk but so is going into the season with no pass rush.
We have Fields eligible for extension after next year. Claypool, Mooney, Johnson and Herbert will be UFAs. Poles is doing the right thing and being judicious with his cap.

Herbert is UFA after 2024 season and won't require a big contract most likely.

Any unused cap can be rolled into next year so no reason to spend unless you are 100% sold on a guy.
We need to be somewhat competitive this year and make the playoffs because if not I feel like it's hard to get top free agents to want to play here. There will be some after only money but good players want a chance at a superbowl, I get the plan it's just frustrating lol

One day maybe we will be competitive I guess. As a long time bears fan I won't hold my breath.
