Love something R.Rice said.

“Regardless of where the ball is, I’m going to catch it,” Rice said.

He went on to say he doesn’t believe in 50-50 balls, because for Rice it’s a “100-0” ball. He pointed to a specific play against Maryland that showcases this ability.

So many players to like from this draft class, I'd be ecstatic if the Bears somehow landed 4 elite prospects.

Poles did good job getting ahead of dumpming that contract because it pays Mack like 27 million a year in 2023 & 2024.

No one is taking that number off of the Bolts' hands, but it's only 9 million in dead cap to release him....so I bet he is a free agent soon.
Agreed.

It might depend on where Mack sees his future. I could easily seen him reworking his contract to stay with the Bolts if he thinks they are contender.

I think Macknis definitely entering the $10M year part of his career

I actually think this wr class is a lot deeper than last year, just doesn't have the top end talent of the last couple years
Exactly. This is the best WR class if you want to draft for position. This isn’t the class to go into looking for a WR1 or 2. Instead, it is the one to find an X, Y, or Z. Now, could one of them turn out to be a 1? Sure. I’m high on dudes like Denzel Mims, but again, it is more likely that he and Zay Flowers are great support in the slot as opposed to drafting them thinking you’re getting a number 1.

Yeah I’m kinda out on this guy. You’ve had all season off and you are saying “you haven’t had enough reps” BUT your hammy is 100%. **** that.

We’re all gonna point and laugh at you when JSN becomes a perennial pro bowler.

Sounds like the same people who thought you could get a first round pick for Allen Robinson or Cam Meredith.

Those people are not thinking very clearly, probably from reading too many fansided articles.

It's a worse crisis than Fentanyl.

It is likely the Chargers always viewed Mack as possibly a one year rental. After trading for him they restructured his contract to make his cap hit in 2022 just under 9 million but to increase his cap hits this year and next to 27m. There was no way that he was ever going to play under those amounts. So more than likely they expected they would cut or restructure his contract again.

Very plausible that he hasn't been training because he wants to be cautious with his hammy and its smarter for him to take the extra time and run at his pro day instead.

Ummm restructures don’t usually work better for cutting a player early. I doubt Mack took a pay cut in his guaranteed money.

That’d be like converting a signing bonus to a base salary lol
