Right....but GB was able to pawn Flynn off to Seattle. And when Majik was at the end, they came up with Farve,
We don't have a history of reloading at Qb. Hopefully, we'll have JF for another decade. And along the way maybe we'll
get a Qb or 2 where we can pawn off on someone.
Flynn was signed by Seattle as a FA. They didn’t receive a draft pick for him via trade

You are a troubled person. I hope you get better. I doubt that is possible because I think it's just part of your brain. But I wish it for you.
LOL......statement above is a combo>>> strawman. red herring tactic

I made a request at point #3 and #5. I requested proof i.e. my exact quotes

However by not responding....... what you're really saying is.......this statement is false #3 "Your whole premise is based on the idea that signing Peterman somehow keeps them from draft a developmental QB,"

And #5 is totally false........"The points you make in bold in the last two paragraphs are all strawmen. They are things you are making up that I didn't write."

Christian Gonzales would be a very on-brand Bears pick at 9 and I don't mean that as a positive.

It'd be another example of this franchise placing the emphasis on defense instead of offense. It's even more egregious in this era of offensive football and us finally having a young franchise QB.

You'd hope after Poles failed to help Fields last off-season he'd give him what he needs this draft (a proper tackle to block for him).

Fields got his shit kicked last season because Poles went bargain bin shopping on the OL and at WR. Now Poles has remedied the WR mess, let's do the same on the OL.
And Poles was a former OL, it’s kind of mystifying how little he’s focused on the OL.

RAS Scores

Cornerback

Deonte Banks, Maryland: 9.99
Christian Gonzalez, Oregon: 9.96
Riley Moss, Iowa: 9.89
Julius Brents, Kansas State: 9.82
Cory Trice Jr, Purdue: 9.78
Darius Rush, South Carolina: 9.73
Joey Porter Jr, Penn State: 9.63
Mehki Garner, LSU: 9.62
Kelee Ringo, Georgia: 9.61
Jakorian Bennett, Maryland: 9.58
Cam Smith, South Carolina: 9.57
Emmanuel Forbes, Miss. State: 9.32
Kyu Blu Kelly, Stanford: 8.86
Tyrique Stevenson, Miami: 8.64
Jaylon Jones, Texas A&M: 8.51
Terrell Smith, Minnesota: 8.48
Cameron Mitchell, Northwestern: 8.23

This is why I feel the Bears won’t go CB at 9. There is a large list of athletic CBs that are also real football players in this draft class.

There’s one hell of a tough, accomplished CB not even on this list.

RAS isn’t everything, but I think it really matters to Poles, Cunningham and Flus when the tape backs the number.

We know from reports they’ve been checking out Brents.

Gonzales will obviously tempt them because his tape matches his eye popping athleticism.

I'm thinking LV trades up to 3 for him. Does indy take levis out of desperation or do they take will Anderson. Then I'd assume Seattle takes wilson/Carter, Detroit takes cb, Arizona could take anything, atl is pretty open too (edge, cb, wr, qb). It's going to be a long month waiting to see how things unfold.
I think (as most do) that Indy trades to #3 and takes their QB there. They simply cannot risk it. They have to move to 3.

You are flailing so hard. I feel bad for you, it must really be tough to be in your position, but thinking things through is better. Try to do that more in the future.

Aaron Rodgers was drafted in the first round. Matt Flynn was not developed, he had three good games and then flamed out. He played seven seasons and totaled 2500 yards in his career.
Don Majkowski? Really you are going to make that argument? That is sad, and shows anyone who knows anything that your are being a fool.

Your whole point, the entire purpose of your post was that signing Peterman was bad because the Bears need to draft and develop a QB. What other point were you trying to make?
But Green Bay always has back up QB's, and they draft QB's, and they trade for QB's. Someday the rest of the NFL will catch on and do the same thing.

You are an idiot. Everyone can read.
IMO this is a wasted RE-signing. There are young mobile Qb's out there who we could bring in and develop.
For example.....Aidian O'Connell, Purdue or Jaren Hall, BYU. These guys will likely be around at the end of the draft.
We need to start developing our own young Qb's. Peterman is a step in the wrong direction. We'll never get anything
for this guy.

The chances of them cutting Peterman are probably low.

So tell me, in your own words and not something that you wrote in a previous post because they are all word vomit, why was signing Peterson to a league minimum deal a wasted signing? Both posts above makes clear that you think this is the case because it will stop the Bears from drafting a late round QB. But that is not the case.

Point 5 was 100% accurate. Again, people here can read what you write. If you don't want to be messed with be less disingenuous. That means stop lying.

I’m a huge a JF1 believer but Rank is such a homer to put him above Hurts.
I hear you but I sat and watched them go toe to toe at Soldier Field. Fields looked bigger, faster and all around better than Hurts that Sunday. He was better in HS. He was better in college.

It’s not crazy to think Justin will be better as a pro. Do you think Jalen would have been able to put up the points and match the excitement for this franchise if he was QB1 here last year?

The Eagles were stacked last year front to back on both sides of the ball with arguably the best offensive line in football. His number two receiver is a Heisman Trophy winner. His running back rushed for 1,269 yards and 11 TDs. He has a top tier TE.

Rank is certainly a homer but as an extrapolation, I don’t think it’s outrageous.

I dont think he intentionally lies, I think he's actually too dumb to understand what his words mean or else he's a bot that just repeats the same nonsense.
