Is this a joke?
Did you hit your head?
Haven't like 2 of his draft picks signed 2nd contracts with the bears of 7 drafts?
Yeah I mean his last 2 drafts were probably his best but too late to save his job. @dabears70 just thinks drafting starters is all that matters oblivious to the fact that in 7 drafts the expectation would be you draft at least a few bonafide stars. The only guy that may turn out to be a bonafide star is Fields but again too late to help Pace.
Does anyone have proof of these 7 largely failed drafts from Pace? Anyone? ANYONE??

Exactly. So no i didn't hit my head and this isn't a joke.

ANYONE???

Niners gave up 3 first and a 3rd to go from 12 to 3 so need a 2nd and 3rd IMO rather than a 3rd and 4th for that Jets trade.

For the Colts, they would need to give me 3 firsts again to give up on Anderson and Carter. That or I would need 2 first and 2 2nds in the next two drafts.

Giants trade is probably at fair value.
Yeah i liked all the picks coming back in the trades but would want at least one more 2023 pick in the Jets and Colts trades and would definitely want another 2023 in the Giants trade if i'm moving all the way down to pick #23 in the 1st round.

Needs 75 yards per game. I know we've already become spoiled by his rushing ability but thats tough, especially with a gimpy shoulder. Its too bad they waited until week 7 to incorporate designed runs. Plus missing 1 week with an injury. Fields could have easily gotten the record.
100% agree.

Genuinely think it's a shame last year was such a shit show.

I hope he breaks it, he's carried this team this season. The fact more and more players on the Bears are speaking openly about him being a leader - speaks volumes for him.

I can’t believe someone is really asking this question.
So you don't like the truth? Got it, but still nobody can show me how @remydat was right in saying Pace has 7 LARGELY FAILED drafts. Weird how that works.

2016
2020
2021

All very far from being LARGELY FAILED drafts since none of them are even close to being failed drafts let alone largely failed.

Every draft pick. I love the 2015 draft.
Compared that to today, Poles is a genius.

Also, 3 out of 7 is more bad than good.

Look at this list. How many where extend and / or are still playing as a Bear?

Short story: I used to be a board called sportshoopla which has boards for various sports and teams within those. So on the same site, there's a board for each NFL team and a board for general NFL. Kinda cool cause you can discuss other teams like division rivals with divisions rival fans, and likewise for your team.

I can't imagine going onto a site entirely devoted to a rival team of mine and finding any chance to talk about my team there, considering the nature of the board itself isn't really inviting that... not like a sportshoopla type board is.

I certainly can't imagine also constantly shitting on that rival team on their own dedicated board either. I'd liken it to showing up to someone's house uninvited, push my way in, then tell them how awesome my choice of decorating is in my house compared to their shitty choice of paint color and flooring, then doing it again and again and again.

But that's just me and my story, unrelated to anything else entirely. Thanks for reading.

Raiders (and a lot of people here) said the same thing about Leatherwood. Small sample size I know but he looked like the best guy out there last week , in very limited snaps.
He (Leatherwood) has something that can't be taught. Athleticism. That's why he was a first rounder wasn't it? Will that matter? Don't know but if he learns his trade, his upside is huge. If not, didn't mortgage anything to get him. BTW....I still think the Bears need to add a stud C and OT to make sure. Play the best 5.

If they didn't draft him to be that, then they probably wouldn't be playing him at wr weekly and have had him inactive for several weeks because he was so bad at wr.

Moving him to rb could definitely change his outcome though.
No. I don't believe they benched him because he was bad at WR. I think they benched him because of his issues with returning.

As far as his role at WR, I think they are doing the obverse of what KC did with Moore: instead of getting him on the field to show what he could do in space, they tried to make him a returner to get him the ball in space, yet he couldn't do it. So, I think they are kicking the tires on VJJ to see what he can do at WR. It will help them make an informed decision next year. I think he's proving more and more that he's a joker/Wingback, but I think they are still hoping he can do more. I doubt it.

He’s no meatball but he doesn’t believe me when I tell him that the Vikings are incredibly lucky to be 10-2. Bradbury seems to get a lot of criticism on the Vikings board(not as much as Mustipher here though).
Saw Musty got an honorable mention for his 2022 center play from PFF. It's gotta be the new math they use.

Again, I don’t understand why you are just looking at WRs. You can make the case to select any player at any position and therefore you could have one less position to draft or sign in the upcoming season. Velus, unfortunately, has not filled any roster spot this season and may not be in the long term plans.
If we are looking at all the options available when we drafted, I would have liked to have taken Marcus Jones. I was really high on him. He was a crazy good returner and a dynamic athlete. Belicheck figured him out and has been using him on O. I like what I saw from him last week. I just think if we had gone my way, the board would have lost their shit taking another DB in the third who was considered too short. So, there's that.
