Every draft pick. I love the 2015 draft.
Compared that to today, Poles is a genius.

Also, 3 out of 7 is more bad than good.

Look at this list. How many where extend and / or are still playing as a Bear?

The 2015 draft was a bad draft which is why i didn't say it was good. Do have have issues with paying attention?

Very good math from you on understanding 3 out of 7 is more bad than good. Were you home schooled?

Who did or didn't get extended has nothing to do with if they were good or bad picks. Did they have careers in the NFL with and after the Bears? Yes you say, well then they were good draft picks.

That paying attention thing is really tough for you.

This is a LARGELY FAILED post.
Well then maybe you've LARGELY FAILED at life and you're just mad.

Were any of those drafts LARGELY FAILED drafts? This should be an easy answer. Now lets see if i get that. This could be the difference on if your life is LARGELY FAILED or not so take your time.

He (Leatherwood) has something that can't be taught. Athleticism. That's why he was a first rounder wasn't it? Will that matter? Don't know but if he learns his trade, his upside is huge. If not, didn't mortgage anything to get him. BTW....I still think the Bears need to add a stud C and OT to make sure. Play the best 5.
Definitely need another G or T but if we don't get a C then it would be a huge miss by Poles.

So you don't like the truth? Got it, but still nobody can show me how @remydat was right in saying Pace has 7 LARGELY FAILED drafts. Weird how that works.

2016
2020
2021

All very far from being LARGELY FAILED drafts since none of them are even close to being failed drafts let alone largely failed.

2016
floyd, whitehair, bullard, kwiatkoski, bush, hall, howard, dhc, braverman

floyd was underwhelming in chicago and was nothing more than a good run stuffer, he eclipsed 5 sacks one time in his time with the bears and thats setting the bar low for a top ten pick...
whitehair - this was a good pick, no argument
bullard - did he do anything besides getting overwhelmed at the poa
kwiatkoski - backup who was very average...got a deal with raiders played one season and is scrub status...
bush - backup who was never good to enough to win a starting job...
hall - who?
howard - good pick
dhc - core special teamer
braverman - did he even play in the regular season?

2020
kmet, johnson, gipson, vildor, mooney, hambright, simmons

kmet - still looks average and doesnt look like he'll ever be a stud TE...
johnson - good pick although not sure he fits this system
gipson - head scratcher...didnt fit the 3-4 but they took him anyway and now hes happy to be back in 4-3 and cant pressure the qb...how ironic
vildor - scrappy but sorry to say he's a scrub...
mooney - turned out to be a good number 2.
hambright - who?
simmons - career backup and thats his ceiling it looks like

2021
fields, jenkins, borom, herbert, newsome, graham jr, tonga

fields - thank nagy for this one
jenkins - back problems and still decided to draft him anyway...flashbacks of chris williams....anyway then tried to have him be the LT...luckily this staff has his ass at guard which seems to be his best spot...
borom - career backup, maybe a swing but def not starter material
herbert - has good potential but can he learn to actually pass block?
newsome - is he on an active roster?
graham jr - same question, is he on an active roster?
tonga - again is he on an active roster?

your saying these were his best drafts? lol cmon now!

For a 5th round pick, I genuinely don't think you could ask more from a player. I had zero expectation when he was drafted as I knew nothing about him.

Could you improve on him next year? Maybe, but as fans, we've all been unhappy with lack of player development or at least trying to have players improve and be put in a position to succeed.

Have to see what next year brings and Fields is all moving forward, it's good to see a guy step in and give it his all on a line that lacked youth or depth.

That was an interesting chart. For as bad as the Bear's team have been this season and all the games they have lost, I can't say that it hasn't been fun to watch. I've never seen a quarterback doing the stuff that Fields has done this year.

The next four games look like a big time tryout camp for the Bear's team. Who shows up like Sanborn and Jones have done and cemented themselves as starters next year. Hope that Gordon, and Brisker come back and Velus gets some "redemption time" to prove what he can or can't do.

It's never been a season like this ever for a Bear's team.

Velus needs "redemption time?"

floyd was underwhelming in chicago and was nothing more than a good run stuffer, he eclipsed 5 sacks one time in his time with the bears and thats setting the bar low for a top ten pick...---still playing and got a nice new contract from the Rams.
whitehair - this was a good pick, no argument
bullard - did he do anything besides getting overwhelmed at the poa--trash
kwiatkoski - backup who was very average...got a deal with raiders played one season and is scrub status...---he was a 4th round pick and played very well for us. CCS hated that we let him go and kept Trevathan.
bush - backup who was never good to enough to win a starting job...4th round pick
hall - who? trash
howard - good pick--4th round pick
dhc - core special teamer--5th round pick
braverman - did he even play in the regular season? trash

2020
kmet, johnson, gipson, vildor, mooney, hambright, simmons

kmet - still looks average and doesnt look like he'll ever be a stud TE...---Haha, he's finally getting plays called for him and showing what he can do.
johnson - good pick although not sure he fits this system--great pick
gipson - head scratcher...didnt fit the 3-4 but they took him anyway and now hes happy to be back in 4-3 and cant pressure the qb...how ironic--5th round pick
vildor - scrappy but sorry to say he's a scrub...---far from a scrub and not shocked you can't see that. He'll have a long career. Also a 5th round pick
mooney - turned out to be a good number 2.--great pick in the 5th round
hambright - who?--who cares, 7th round pick
simmons - career backup and thats his ceiling it looks like--7th round pick

2021
fields, jenkins, borom, herbert, newsome, graham jr, tonga

fields - thank nagy for this one--Thanks Pace for trading up and drafting our franchise QB.
jenkins - back problems and still decided to draft him anyway...flashbacks of chris williams....anyway then tried to have him be the LT...luckily this staff has his ass at guard which seems to be his best spot...Starting T or G on any team in the NFL.
borom - career backup, maybe a swing but def not starter material--i'll take a swing tackle in the 5th round.
herbert - has good potential but can he learn to actually pass block?--6th round pick
newsome - is he on an active roster?
graham jr - same question, is he on an active roster?--yes
tonga - again is he on an active roster?--yes.

your saying these were his best drafts? lol cmon now!
How is it that people that say they know football don't seem to understand what you should expect from guys drafted in the 1st round on through to the 7th round? It baffles me that some of you expect 5th round picks to be pro bowl players. Pace did well in all 3 of those drafts especially going by where each were drafted.

If you think those were largely failed drafts then that's on you.
