9ers are probably SB favorites with Fields/that OL/ McCaffery/Deebo/Aiyuk and that D. They’re kicking themselves for sure.
A couple things here. Not that the Niners have had trouble building a team, but if they had Fields they could have flipped Jimmy's money off the books. Assuming they would have more faith in Fields than Lance, because he at least played high level college ball in his last year before the NFL. Now Jimmy G potentially leaves for nothing (comp pick) and they still don't know if Lance can play, and now they might not even want him to play because Purdy is apparently awesome.

Also, for the Bears that's what they should model their team after. I'm not sweating a big WR add because I do think Mooney and Claypool can be enough, different style than Deebo and Aiyuk, but they only have 1 1000 yard season between them (and Deebo wasn't getting there even if healthy this year). Kmet and Kittle's stats aren't that far off this year. But the Bears can use that dynamic RB to help out. Granted, SF didn't have CMC until a couple months ago, but I do think the Bears offense can look like a more dynamic version of theirs if they build up their front 5. Super long way to go there though.

Fields was 14-21, which is great but he missed 4 easy throws IMO. This is one. He missed Ebner on a swing pass. He missed a deep one on the move to Kmet near the sideline and the play after I believe was the miss on the quick WR screen. This play, on 4th and 3 would have put the Bears in FG range. The Kmet throw would have been a huge play and also put them near FG range.

Actually the Kmet play is here at 9:35. If Kmet can outrun a DB, this is a TD. It's not an "easy" throw per se, but one that a mobile QB needs to make if he's going to play with moving pockets consistently.

Like JT said, Fields has gotta start hitting the layups, 100% of the time. 7 incompletions, 1 was a throwaway, 1 his arm was hit by Reddick, 1 deep miss to Jones Jr. That's an 86% completion day and at least 6 more points in a game they lost by 5. Considering he still had a great QB rating and put up 20 on the best D in the league it's tough to complain, but even without great talent he's on the cusp of being so much more production

He’ll get there next year. Baby steps this year. He has the work ethic and determination to improve

I WOULD be shocked if he targeted RB. Herbert was very good before getting hurt, Monty is also very good. Unless you get Bijan (who will certainly go in the first) I'd target other players in the 2nd-4th rounds. RB isn't even on my radar, TBH.
Yeahs I agree. I only want Bijan in the first, after that, I wouldn’t touch a RB until the 5th and that’s for my man Deuce Vaughn. There are some decent fill in backs that can be had later.

You either read CCS and can process the information given to you or you can ignore it and be willfully ignorant. Looks like you've chosen the latter.

God you sound like such a herb. "The podcast scene" lmaoooo
670 has football people on it. Every single show has someone who has been on the Bears beat. These are football people. Are you, a random guy on the internet more of a football guy just because you say so? Or are the only football people those who played in the league? In that case you're listening to what? Jason McKee and Olin Kreutz? Or is it Corey Wooton with a bunch of "not actual football guys"?

ok

I appreciate your analysis of my media consumption tendencies

He will. This is just easy stuff too. Concentration lapses with his footwork. All the missed throws were bad with his front foot not pointing toward where he was throwing the ball. Like you said, he works too hard to not improve these things.

Just a heads up, Charlie Campbell, usually the most accurate draft guy, has Bijan going number 4 to Detroit!
4. lionsb_logo.gif Detroit Lions: Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas
Texas_logo.gif

Under Brad Holmes, the Lions have taken elite talents and not reached for need. Hence, I could see them passing on Will Levis and taking one of the best players in the 2023 NFL Draft, like Robinson. D'Andre Swift is a talented back, but he is utterly incapable of staying healthy and handling a big work load. Swift is not worthy of a big extension. Jamaal Williams is also a free agent after this season. Here's a running back who has the potential to become a Lions legend who reminds their fanbase of the Barry Sanders days.

Are you fucking kidding me?!? Wow. And, again, that’s Charlie Campbell.

Charlie Campbell is only accurate after the combine, because he knows some scouts. He's not a scout at all, neither of those guys knows the first thing about football.

Lol lions taking an rb would be a very lion move. Defense is awful, need a real qb, have 2 good rbs, yeah let's go rb
Talk radio locally if Anderson/Carter gone they feel
Db/lb will be the first round focus. They might even be in play for Payne in free agency. They have lots of options if they stick with goff. But I feel like the way goff is playing is he just getting hot at the right time like past qbs foles/Flacco and will end up blowing up in their face. But I also am not a big fan of the qbs in this draft. Should be interesting what they do someone will end up with bijan prob panthers they love kicking the qb issue down the road lol

This is nothing like Foles. Foles has never thrown for 3,000 yards in a season. Goff is a former #1 overall pick with two PB’s on his resume.

Teddy Bridgewater made the PB with 14 TD’s. Trubisky made the PB. Goff is still a loser until proven otherwise.
