CHI isn’t trading for another War after the Claypool acquisition.

If they trade down and get extra firsts then they certainly could. Mooney and Claypool unlikely to sign this offeason given their injuries and lack of big numbers. You can trade for and lock up Higgins long term this offseason and then sign one of Mooney and Claypool in 2024 depending on who delivers in 2023.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Ohio Bobcats
I would not draft Bijan top 5 if I knew he was going to be CMC, Barkley or Jesus foe that matter.
Well Jesus wouldn't have played RB. Bad case of fumble-itis

One of the best ever? that does sound good, but maybe we should lower our expectations this year? My expectation was set pretty low, I wanted year 2 Fields to be better then year 2 Mitch.

So mitch had 14 games, Fields is at 13 games so I'm hoping that Fields will have 600 yards (combined passing/running) 100% completion and 4 TD to get his numbers the same as Mitches. I think he can do it! What do you think? Can he do it?

Here is the problem. I care more about what opposing players say about Fields vs what they said about Trubisky than I do about your expectations. I tagged you to ensure you heard what opposing players said about Fields as when opposing players were shitting on Trubisky, you were still defending him.

Finally I think Von Miller and Darius Slay understand the difference between Fields doing what he did with Dante Pettis and Velus as his top WRs vs Trubisky having Robinson and Taylor Gabriel. Hence why they are praising Fields while dudes were shitting on Trubisky.

I get it I'm just setting a low bar for this year.. so think he can surpass that low bar I set?

Apparently you don't get it because you are still asking me about a bar I just told you I don't care about? What part of that don't you understand?

If you don't wish to talk about what Von Miller said then there is nothing to talk about as that is what I tagged you on. Nothing else.

I agree it is a good point that you don't seem to understand. Let's revisit when you gain that understanding.

Stafford is better.

Doesn’t mean Goff is awful.

I mean Bears fans worship Rex Grossman yet Goff is twice the QB he ever was and gets shit on endlessly.

I just find it amusing. The guy has three times (Probably 4 after this year) exceeded the Bears all time yards in a season record but people act like he’s Craig Krenzel.

You managed to have hyperbole, a straw man and irrelevant points all in one post! Congrats, not even the worst posters on here have managed to do that!

Rex sucks and he’s not worshipped on here by the majority or even a decent minority of the board. There might one or 2 posters that have a hard-on for him but the Bears lost the SB because of him(like Goff did for LAR) and made the SB in spite of him. He just threw a good deep ball.

Having better all-time stats than Bears QB’s means literally nothing given the Bears ineptitude at the position. No one acts likes he’s Craig Krenzel, he’s just someone who will let you down on the biggest stage, which he has proven to do. When your opponent is bragging on the sideline that you are due to throw a pick in the SB and then do just that(yes that really happened), you don’t make the moment. The moment makes you.

True he’s not “awful” he’s just not a franchise QB and is behind the 8-ball on being that guy to win his team a SB. But hey Dilfer won one, so maybe Goff can too! Amirite?

Are you trying to tell me that Jesus couldn’t take a hit and hold onto the ball? Let me guess, you probably don’t believe that he can hit a curveball too!
