Well typically when one of the league’s best coaches believes you to be the reason why your team can’t win the SB and then basically give up the farm to acquire a QB and trade away valuable draft capital to dump you as well AND then go on to win that SB in the 1st year, it’s pretty easy to see that he was right. This isn’t hard.

Stafford is better.

Doesn’t mean Goff is awful.

I mean Bears fans worship Rex Grossman yet Goff is twice the QB he ever was and gets shit on endlessly.

I just find it amusing. The guy has three times (Probably 4 after this year) exceeded the Bears all time yards in a season record but people act like he’s Craig Krenzel.

Yeah, Goff is kind of a stud thrower

Dude is just weak mentally imo. As in he folds under pressure. And not just literal pressure from the rush, but pressure situations, high stakes moments/games and whatnot. He crumbles

I was not aware of any Bears fans worshipping Rex Grossman....

But I do get the overall point that Goff isn't as bad as he is sometimes made out to be. IMO, Goff isn't a guy that can really elevate the team around him, but in the right situation he can keep the boat pointed generally in the right direction.

Rex Grossman was terrible.

Goff is like kirk cousins, he puts up big numbers with great talent around him but he's a loser. I'd never want either on my team if my goal was winning a super bowl and not padding box scores

I think this forum is meant for Bears fans so I dont know that fans of other teams should have an expectation of being treated the same as Bears fans.
