I can't laugh cause this could have so easily been the bears. It's frankly kind of shocking that the bears picked the right QB, shift went after him aggresively

Man after the Mahomes thing, I empathize with Jets fans, but they have been on the twitterz constantly saying Wilson and White are better than Fields, they deserve the vitriol right now.I can't laugh cause this could have so easily been the bears. His highlights are pretty good.
Half the replies are like "Mack is better but Fields can still have a career because he can run even though he doesn't have an NFL arm".
Like Mack does?Half the replies are like "Mack is better but Fields can still have a career because he can run even though he doesn't have an NFL arm".
Niners fans are trying to tell themselves that they got the real deal in Lance. At least they can still say that they haven’t seen enough. Most social media comments in regards to Fields are insanely lazy narrative takes. “Runningback”, “No arm”, etc. You can tell they haven’t watched a Bears game the last 2 months and seen his progression, they just see the highlight runs and note his low passing yards. He has plenty of arm, but they fail to see the situation around him is a mess, something rational Bear fans knew coming into the season.
From what I understand, if a QB doesn’t have velocity they likely will never have velocity. If they put on a bunch of muscle to increase that velocity, then their accuracy disappears. Mac will never have an NFL caliber arm. His ceiling is very low while Fields/Lawrence have very high ceilings.Like Mack does?
Clearly not but I thought Mack would work on increasing his velocity. If he did, it's a fail and he always seemed a bit entitled and dickish.
Lawrence and Fields were always the elite of that class and it has as much to do with their heads as it does their elite skills. True competitors with a desire to excel and the tools to pull it off. It's kinda cool that they still have each other to measure against. Would be fun to see them square off next year.

A boy among men.

Can't think of one example to refute that. Brady comes to mind but while he wasn't a strong armed QB in college, he wasn't weak armed either and threw it harder than his build would have indicated. From what I understand, if a QB doesn’t have velocity they likely will never have velocity.
