Yep. There is no way they'll ever make $65 Million a year for a desk job like Roger Goodell.
To help Roger earn his dollar the same way as Barkley, I propose that every time Goodell announces a draft pick, it is immediately followed up with Romanowski, in full roid rage, driving him into the ground at full speed. Barkley faces the prospect of a life-altering injury every time he gets the ball, so fair is fair.

Sure, linebackers are bigger and faster now, but Romo was as dirty as they come. Barkley absorbs more hits in a season, so you have to even it out somehow.

I think they are focused on team building and how to be great and would much prefer Houston's influence on the team.

I do not know enough about Ngakoue but based on how much his position on who he will sign with has changed this off-season and how bad he is in the run game I don't think they'd be bringing him in for his mentorship and I don't see Pace spending for a rental in a season that is not going anywhere anyways.
It's obviously what's up but really, this season has the potential go much better than expected and I'd hate to be an edge short of genuine contention.

Collins has spent most of his career on practice squads but true to Poles brand I think he has one of the fastest OL 40 time’s ever
Sometimes I think strict adherence to "scheme fit" is going to be the Achilles' heel for this regime.

Relativity means nothing when all parties are wealthy. When you hear a RB complaining about his salary, just imagine he’s a Republican complaining about taxes or a millionaire complaining about struggling to feed his kids.

I see a guy who will barely able to walk in his 40s who could quite possibly have a 6-figure annual medical bill for maybe 7-8 years of play vs a guy who sits on his ass all day and takes private jets. I'm always curious why good, patriotic, "working people" complain about the athlete getting "overpaid" in that scenario while ignoring the guy making 10 times as much with much less risk who works on Park Avenue.

I'll buy the mentorship thing. Houston's definitely better in that area. But Houston is also a rental and also a pass rush specialist. He CAN play the run, but he didn't start for the Ravens and only played 44% of the snaps last year.

That is kind of where I am at, though my personal belief is that the players create 100% of the content that I consume in sports, so they should have the bargaining power to determine what everyone else involved makes.

I dont buy McCaskey jerseys and I dont pay to see Virginia to get beat up by 250lb linebackers that run like deer. If every player in the NFL left and went to play in a parking lot, I would choose to watch them instead of whatever inferior teams the league creates in their absence.
