I get what you are saying but these guys choose to play the sport and understand the possible outcome. They are still making millions doing it and if managed correctly should be set for life. Even with medical bills.

I think your average working people complain because these players already making millions get very greedy. The average working people have their own medical bills to pay, etc and can barely afford it. With that said, everyone has the right to complain about their CEOs (Goodell) or board members being filthy rich while the people below them busts their ass making chump money.
Let's go with your take for a moment. Which level of greed is more egregious: the guy who makes a living doing the one thing he feels he was born to do and asks to be paid more than the kicker on his football team who rarely has contact or the entitled "executive" who makes a hundred million, gets a an annual multi-million dollar bonus while he outsources more and more jobs to cheaper economies, and gets a golden parachute-which means even if he's awful at his job and is fired, will still collect a huge payout?
