My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. UCLA Bruins
Interesting that the Steelers don’t have the QB wear a different color jersey to really stand out as someone not eligible to hit.
I heard JF was RB1 not QB in this scrimmage. 😆
Edit: Apologies to msadows, I just realized that you established JF's position first....😄

I wonder what a 2024 Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze rookie autograph ball signed with the team and Ari Moore will be worth?

He said he couldn't get spicy because his kids needed to eat it.
DJ, c’mon man. You can afford to get a second order of whatever you want. Get what the kids want and get something with some flavor for you. That’s how I get breakfast burritos for my family

If Dexter lives up to the hype and Booker shows he can at least bring consistent pressure as a pass rush specialist then I offer Keenan 2 years at 17m a year in his age 33 and 34 seasons.

That would mean his contract ends after 2026. We have 143 million in cap to spend ocer those 2 years and 33 guys under contract in 2026. Only starter that will be a free agent in 2025 is Jenkins and in 2026 it would be Gordon, Brisker, Davis, Byard, Braxton, Edwards, Billings, and Bates. Davis aint getting resigned and likely cut.

So Allen's 17 milliom would leave 126m to sign 20 guys. Draft class is 15 next 2 years so can sign all of Jenkins, Gordon, Brisker and Braxton as those are only ones with potential to cost 15m or more. Other free agents are older and likely can be had on cheap deals if we want.

In addition to this posts good content, another thing to keep in mind is Poles has done a good job of structuring most of the cap hits as salary and not signing/roster/restructure/etc. bonuses - he keeps the financial flexibility to spread out a ton of cap if the Bears need/want to. Bears have a ton of financial reach available to them (assuming ownership can endure the financial burden) if they decide the time to strike is now and want to buy more talent.
