That because of the slot bonus (Was not meant to be official) or the Cubs (Because of arm). However, no one is worried because he's still expected to play with the Cubs. Nothing to worry about.

Apparently Scott has posted on Facebook that he's already signed his contract. Given that it won't be announced for a while, it makes you wonder how long the Cubs might have already had some of these kids signed.

Official: The Cubs have signed pitchers Tony Zych (3rd round pick) and Taylor Scott (5th round pick and a bonus of 280K). Also, they sign 17th round pick OF John Andreoli.

Note: 11th round pick Shawon Dunston Jr. and 37th round pick Ricky Jacquez may be leaning towards school and not signing to play with the Cubs.
