Stretch. Warm up (like 10 mins on a treadmill or something). Start with like 1/2 the weight you normally do on squats and do a few sets like that and see how it feels. If it's ok, gradually build weight up to what you normally do. If it hurts, back off and try again your next workout (stretching it out the days in between).

Disclaimer: I'm not really sure if that's good advice or not, but that's what I would do, lol.

I worked out Wednesday with a personal trainer since my dad paid for one to try to workout his knee mostly since he had knee replacement surgery and he convinced the guy to also to see if i could get trained as well so kind of a two for one deal and I seriously couldn't walk the rest of the day, today and yesterday and im still trying to get better lol. My quads are just way too tight after squating. I really want to get swole though so I'm going to try and stick to it lol.

yeah dude stick with it your body adjusts after the first week and the DOMS will go away. a few months ago when i did squats for the first time i could barely walk for 3-4 days, it as some crazy shit never had DOMS like that before in my entire life.

Like I've done squats before, more weight but with longer breaks in between here at home. But I think because I was only resting like a minute or less after each set and using less weight just the speed of it messed with my legs more than anything.

Just got back from the gym. Killed it today. Full upper body workout, about an hour of racquetball against some dude that was really good and then I swam about 20 laps. Beat. Nap time. Too bad I have a bunch of work to do.

I listen to everything when I workout. Sometimes the pump up music, sometimes the relaxing stuff. Rarely does it make a difference for me as long as it's music I like.

Anyone struggling with the DOMS, try XTEND by Scivation. I've sworn by this stuff for years. The new Blue Raz flavor is the tits. I thinks that's the flavor, all I know is that it's glue. It's especially good for people cutting

Music is nice, but I don't need it. The best motivation is pushing yourself and not using anything else around you.

I worked out again today and it went a lot better than last time. My trainer was saying how I should do MMA and stuff like that since we were talking about it.Overall I feel pretty good about the workout though and everything. I'm really hoping I can stick to this,I don't want to be a twig the rest of my life lol.
