That doesn't matter at this time.
If that's who Poles takes at 10 all I can do is wait and see if he's a good blocker. Then in a year or two I could look back and decide if it was a good pick.

If he trades up without a steal of a deal that makes it being a good pick much more difficult since he takes up 2 spots that could've been oline or dline.
This is a weird reply. You literally said this:

If Jeanty can block I'm OK with it (at 10). A blocking RB counts as an oline boost to me plus everything else a good RB brings to a team.

I simply answered that. You basically implied you wouldn't take him if he wasn't a good blocker. Now... you've done a 180°. I really don't care about his blocking. I was just letting you know since you seemed unsure.

Plot twist:

Poles is attempting to trade up. Not for Jeanty, as that is just a smokescreen, but for Mason Graham.

Can't disagree with your points but I was a little underwhelmed by swift and johnson last year. Would be nice to have a rb who could create yards and take some pressure off the young QB.
Well, we can add a RB not named Jeanty. It's hyped as one of the deepest RB classes ever. That also factors into why I think trading up is bad when there's going to be a lot of value at RB later in the draft.

I sure as **** hope so. Though all the people saying Graham is going to tumble well into the teens is surprising to me. Less than 3 hours til the start of finding out.

This is a very dramatic take. The only one of those moves that really “set the bears back” was Claypool. Davis was a dud but hardly set them back…Bates cost a 5th and is currently their backup C who could also play OG, assuming he’s healthy.
That's just from the top of my head. There has been plenty of others.

If it's between trading up for Jeanty or trading down for Hampton, I'm taking Hampton + more value 100 times out of 100.

YOU literally can't answer that. Only time can answer that.
If you think your opinion should matter at this late time you had better get on the phone to Poles and convince him, you have 2.5 hours.

And there is no implication. I stated what I stated. I have no say in whether or not he's taken so I wouldn't imply such a thing as whether or not I'd take him.
I said I'd be OK with it if he's taken if he can block.
If we get him and he can't block I don't see it working out for him or Williams so I would not be OK with it.

At this point it's a hind sight thing, we just don't know the answer for a few more hours.

If there's not much of a drop off then I agree 100% better off going OL/DL at 10. Only if jeanty is good enough to consistently take the pressure off williams should he be taken with the first round pick. I wouldn't have a problem with moving up if he can do that. Difficult to disagree with the reasonable/logical points you make though.
