I'm a big evidence-based guy.
Ultimately not knowing how it's going to all work out and also knowing that there are exceptions to every rule, is there evidence to support the claim that X person is going to be good at their job?
So far with this coaching staff, I'm not seeing much evidence.
There are little things here and there to like, for sure. But evidence that *any* of these men can properly mold Justin Fields? ---- The evidence just isn't there.
Exactly what "evidence" are you seeking? Tarot cards? You are wanting a sure thing prediction of the future. That doesn't exist.
Did Martz have that evidence? How did that work out? How about Fox?
This is how it works in the NFL. Any coach who is a sure thing isn't available.
Many times it's the peter principle, people move up until they fail. Other times it's someone who's washed up, you get lucky and squeeze another year out of them, or you don't.
Sometimes you get lucky and find the guy you will lock up until they're washed up.
But you never get a sure thing great one at the position you want them for, because that isn't allowed.
