For what it's worth, Daniel Jeremiah has Alec Pierce as 75 overall. Dane Brugler has him 89. I've only heard Pierce talked about as early as the 3rd, so 48 is probably too early for him.

I would love to see Poles trade back like crazy. This draft just seems super deep in all of our need positions: WR, CB, S, OL. Getting them all in the 3/4th rounds and getting more competition in later rounds would be ideal.

Similar but DK posted a much better 40 and vert jump. He’s much more explosive than burks

dont disagree with metcalf being more explosive, my point is when it came to COD/agility, metcalf sucked more than burks did...
i hope burks is there for the bears, they can then trade down with a team whos enamored with him and get more picks...
nothing against burks i think he'll be solid but i dont think hes stud material.

Yes as the article noted 4 out of 77 WRs have succeeded with that 3 cone. If you add in the low vert then only 13 of 39 guys with that 3 cone and vert combo were even drafted and only 2 successful. Those are not odds I personally would spend a 2nd round pick on.
