Many of you know my fascination with the Wrecking Crew which was a bunch of studio musicians in the 60s that really were the people that recorded all those hits by people like Dylan, Sinatra, Beach Boys, etc. This people were so busy that they were recording hits 6 days a week for 12 hours. Many of them were considered the best players in the world on their instruments. One you probably never heard of was Hal Blaine that literally recorded thousands of records in his career but shaped the sound of the 60s'. If you truly appreciate great musicianship might want to view these 2 clips. Might make you rethink how good John Bonham was

Might make you rethink how good John Bonham was

Treading on sacred ground here. I watched the first one, distracted by Chapelle Show "Race draft episode" in the background. Can you expand on the above statement? What do the clips have to do with Bonham?

Grim...On lunch break and I found your post..I actually think it's good that Ommy is a music fan..The fact that he doesn't know shit from shinola about the music business shouldn't deter him from enjoying what he likes..As long as he realizes he shouldn't claim to be an expert when he isn't, I'm fine with it.. Putting me on ignore just ensures he will never gain any of my knowledge. But that's his choice, and his failure.

Why would ommy need to "gain knowledge" from a poster that does nothing but be a dick about his "knowledge" without ever really being knowledgeable by entertaining other's thoughts? Bearsbud just wants to be "right." and it's a big fucking joke.

Ommy is an excellent poster when it comes to music IMO. I played all his recent youtube posts for my kids and wife and had no idea about the stuff he's been posting. And he's not a smug ass hater either.
