Oh and it's not like the lagoon is massive and takes up a large part of the resort.
And these cops are not searching for the body in an area that looks like the Everglades and shit.

Family likley to get 8 figure sum.
Yes there is a drop off
Rango knows how to make a thread that will entertain.
You do not have any facts about where the parents were yet you think that they were liable. As for that lagoon. it looks like any lake in Minnesota and probably Nebraska.
First of all. That was a beach in a five star resort. Little different form many out here. Second of all, you do not know anything about whether the parents were watching a movie. That scene did not look dangerous at all and a No Swimming Sign does not convey the type of danger at hand. Period. The END.
Looks like Big Bear Lake up here.

I have facts. The parents were not in between the gator and the boy because otherwise the gator couldn't grab the boy.
Beaches don't have bushes growing in the fucking water. It's a lagoon. And I know what they parents were doing because it was said they were enjoying a MOVIE NIGHT. That implies they were watching a movie.
Yes and in Florida, places that look like Big Bear Lake having fucking alligators.
Still. Disney is liable because of their FAILURE to adequately protect its visitors. All they really needed to do was adequately post warning signs and I think even make that lagoon inaccessible to tourists because after all, it is just good business and if tourists are going to see little kids killed at that resort, who would go there when there are so many more better safer places to go with their family.
I can just see the conversation in the kitchen now........Hey hon, why don't we got to Disney World this summer? We can go try and wrestle gators? MAybe the DUck Dynasty guys will put on a show for us of their collection of water moccasins, killer turtles, etc. Forget little Beckie wanting to see Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck.....I want to see some blood in the water.
Humor aside. DIsney is going to suffer because of this, reputation wise and of course, money wise. And it is all because their management was stupid. A smart company takes precautions for shit like this.
I would be shocked if as one of the lawyers says, this goes to trial from the perspective of the parents. I don't think these parents want to be cross examined on their level of culpability and what they were doing at the time this kid was playing in the water in the dark.
Guess what, genius. The parents do not even have to testify at all. It is up to Disney to prove what they did or didn't do. Its a slam dunk and doubt that Disney will ever go to court because it is in their interest to settle. I think that 8 figures will be the amount settled for with the family probably giving a great amount to some charity.

Enjoying a Movie Night means that the parents were watching a movie some distance from their kid? Do you know how stupid that statement is? Want to think about that for awhile and say something different? I can also see this conversation. Back in Nebraska, two parents are talking and one turns to the other and says....."Hey hon, lets go to a movie tonight and leave the kid in the parking lot to fend for himself"? I will bet a lot of money that those parents were not watching some movie and leaving a two year old kid like that. On one would do that!
Yes.But is he a better mod?
