I know, right? That's why they got a whole 6th round pick for him! The league values him as much as you do .

My point is that you ride Fields dick so hard you can taste your own ass. Everyone else has moved on.
The ONLY people that have not moved on are you and the other profiles that I’ve consistently seen trashing Justin Fields in threads since the 2023/2024 season.

You people are weird.

Point to one post where I've "trashed" Justin Fields. I never have. I didn't think he was good enough for the Bears to keep given they had the #1 pick, and pointed to why over a long time. And literally no one in NFL would disagree with that, only emo fans. The only person I'm trashing is you, because your arguments are complete shit.

You have to make up stuff up to keep your faulty narrative intact. Last week I posted that Fields' skill set would fit best with IND. and I would like to see him there. You liked the post and replied. Now, when you don't agree with me, I'm biased and hate Fields. You expect people to take that at face value?

I think the weird people are the ones who are saying in February 2025 that "Fields isn't the second coming, but..."

I thought David Haugh was the only person left who snidely tells everyone "Justin Fields is clearly a starting QB in the NFL". I guess there are others. Sad.

We'll see in a few weeks what the Steelers and the rest of the NFL thinks.

I'm sure there was a contingent of Jets fans who never thought Darnold was capable of what he achieved this past season. I bet there were a good swath of Browns fans ecstatic to rid themselves of Baker in favor of Watson.

To speak in absolutes with regards to the QB position when it's so dependent on coaching, fit, offensive line play and weapons is foolish. Every year there's players who find themselves in a good situation and thrive.

Following a player and rooting for him to succeed is far from sad, it's perfectly normal behavior. Not interested in it? Don't post on the thread, pretty simple!

Article on what happened to the offense in the last part of the year - Smith/Tomlin wanted a run first offense and didn't like Wilson audibling out of the called plays.

Seems like this is coming from Russ' camp because it's placing the blame on the offensive woes on anybody but him. Russ still wants to cook despite getting tossed out of Seattle and Denver for his antics.

Rooting for him to succeed is fine.

Making every thread somehow about him or believing he’s a star the Bears were wrong to trade is crazy.

Overstating his accomplishments and ignoring reality is crazy.

This thread is literally about the Steelers QB situation - nobody is bringing him up elsewhere.

If ownerships wants the arrow pointing up they keep Fields and trade Wilson for a bagel. The Steelers are consistent winners but unless they trade up this year they aren’t getting their franchise QB. Stick with Fields, hope for a the best, and figure out the QB situation after seeing what 25 brings. The Steelers aren’t close enough to stick with a good but aging QB.

Tell me you don’t read any other threads without saying the words “I don’t read any other threads“.

Wow. You edited your comment 6 hours after initially making it. You’re triggered.

Becoming upset because Justin Fields name is mentioned is extremely “crazy”.

Your troll game is weak and you’re incapable of out-debating me. You’re unsure of yourself to the point of spending 6 hours of your day editing and attempting to correctly create a comment.

Or I could have taken the afternoon off and gone golfing. Notice any posts I made in the interim?

You could respond to the actual post too, instead of whatever attempt this is to evade the obvious point I made that you have no retort for. Already asked you to show where I trashed Fields, already showed you that just last week you liked a post where I talked about what I thought would be good for his career. Nada.

You seem like a high schooler. Did mommy buy you a Fields jersey last year, and that's why you can't quit him?

I think Indy realizes that Richardson is a bust. On top of that, Richardson checking himself out of game because he felt fatigued is probably a huge red flag.

Did you see the drive he did that?

You ask these dual threat QBs to drive the lines for a yard 4 times, scramble around, but time...etc.

I really didn't think his decision was terrible but more like too selfless, where he trusted his teammates to get it done and was like legitimately gassed from doing all the work to drive them down the field.

He gets so much shit for that one moment but if I recall his team scored a touchdown? It was like 2nd and goal from the one and he was gassed. He's like "go ahead do it boys I might have to take a timeout."

People would rather he take a time out or rather he never gets tired? I don't get it.

Wow, what a horrendous posting.

We don't need to wait a few weeks to see 'what the Steelers and the rest of the NFL thinks'....we already saw that in 2024.

The comparison to Baker Mayfield is completely asinine. Mayfield was/is 100X better than Fields.

Yes, I'm sure no one thought Darnold would have such big year (although resident CCS know-it-all Ms. Adows will probably claim that she knew it all along). Good for Darnold. That said, the Vikings didn't bring him in to be their starter. He played because McCarthy got injured.

No one is rooting against Fields. Not sure what the issue is here, other than people saying things like "Fields isn't the second coming, but..."

You actually consider this a “debate“?

“Fields is going to sign a multi-year deal and be a starter again in the NFL and make the Bears regret letting him go!”

“No, he’s not.”

“Why are you haters so obsessed with Fields!?”

I dont think most of us are even anti-fields. I was a huge fields fan and still like him, but realized the bears had a pretty obvious decision in their hands last year. Then the league told us what they thought of fields. Then a few weirdos have clung onto him non stop since.

I was posting in August that Darnold was going to have a Baker type of year because QB play is highly dependent on the situation in which they're in and the Minnesota offense has an elite offensive head coach, good OL and excellent weapons.

And the return that Poles got for Fields to me reflects Poles' mismanagement of the situation more than it reflects Justin's value in the NFL and like I said - in a few weeks we'll see what opportunity and contract Justin gets.
