Colston was a fucking stud. Pierre Thomas was a fine RB as well as Bush. Also had Shockey as well. You'd be a fool to take the Saints offensive lineup over that 2009 team. Were Thomas & Kamara better than their best 2? Of course. Have the current Saints teams had better depth than the 2009 team? Fuck no. Not even close.

Bush was kamara super light, and the fact you’re bringing up Pierre Thomas is telling. The saints have had some solid other running backs paired with kamara over the years. I didn’t feel they were worth bringing up because kamara and Thomas are so much better than that 2009 squad offensively.

Of course he’s not completely blame free, but he’s not the reason they lost the game. The “great” o line gave up 5 sacks. The “great” Jones fumbled twice while losing 1. We don’t have to discuss the LaFleur FG decision.

King got burnt right before halftime. They had 3 picks though and the offense couldn't get going. Seems like maybe another weapon could have helped. I do know love didn't help any.
