You'll have to excuse Rami. From this thread it appears all he does is read ASG ballot returns and hang out with idiots who argue about Derrick Rose and Ricky Rubio.

The group of flunkies this ass clown hangs out with must be epicly bad.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
And averaging more FT a game means he can get easier and better in the paint?LeBron is more effective when he plays as a PF.It would be my pleasure to see LeBron vs Deng in the final possession of the EFC.I will know from the beggining that he will hit a difficult shot with 10% to make it or he will lose the ball or he will travel.Seeing the ball on Wade,Rose or Durrant's hands vs Deng that would be the hardest 15 seconds of the year.

I don't have something with Lebron. He is the best player in the NBA.It's only the guys that overrate him i can't stand.Saying that LeBron is a better PG than Rose is a joke.
:dunno:

Derrick Rose averages more assists (in a slower pace and less help scoring-wise), with a better assist:turnover ratio than LeBron James. He is faster with better ball-handling skills and slips into holes better than James in a half-court set. There is definitely plenty of upside of having Rose as your point guard in an offense over having LeBron James as your point guard in an offense.

Lebron is good at many things. That's why he is the best player.Noone else is good at so many things. But he is not better PG than DRose. He is not a better rebounder than Howard or KLove. He is not a better 3pointer than Ray Allen. That simple.

I'm in a Bulls' forum right now, people. If you guys don't come and defend what I just said (not even based in homerism) then I don't know... haha

Lebron James also somewhat shares the ball with a guy in Wade who averages 5.5 a game.

Me thinks that if Lebron was the ONLY ball handler he'd average more APG.

Perhaps we should look at seasons where LBJ average almsot 30PPG and nearly 9 APG with less than 3.5 TOPG as well.

Yeah I mean...It's not like LBJ has ever done anything like that as a PG..which would blow Rose out of the water..

Oh wait.

slips into holes better than James in a half-court set.

Yet somehow LBJ is nearly alway snear the top of hte NBA in points in the paint and FTA's. WIERD!

It's like everything you say is contradicted by facts and what is actually occuring in reality.
There is definitely plenty of upside of having Rose as your point guard in an offense over having LeBron James as your point guard in an offense.
THAT'S NOT THE POINT.....................guard :smug2:

You said there is no denying that Rose is the better PG. We disagreed. I never said Rose isn't better than LBJ at certain things(which would be the upsides in context of certain situations). At the end of the day..all thigns considered I'll take the 6'9 250lb guy with elite scoring ability, top tier ball handling, great vision, power, strength, elite speed, agility, the better defender, and on and on over Derrick Rose.

It's not close. And not even a discussion really. Yeah sure Rose has some "upside" over LBJ in a few catagories...but balanced against the full package of each.....it's not close.

Ok?

I guess? Then again LBJ also is fast enough to run around them as well..and that's not to say Rose isn't strong either.

Whatever?

So you want to have your cake and eat it too by saying 'OH ROSE AVERAGES MORE ASSISTS PER GAME BECAUSE JAMES HAS WADE AS A SECONDARY PLAY-MAKER.'

But when I say that James has more help in regard to secondary and third play-makers, and THAT is why he is able to get away with playing a lot of point guard, you are the first person to say 'WHO CARES.'

Rose = better offensive PG
James = way better at defending the PG position

If you want to factor in defense and call James the better PG, that's fine. But don't call him the better offensive PG because he's not. That's asinine.

there is way more to pg than just getting assists. Rondo is a great pg but he also gets more hockey assists than he gets actual assists. Judging a pg by the amount of assists he gets isnt the best way. Watching tape of the player is a better way IMO.

well duh that is common sense. The first time Rose decides to play defense for a full 35mins will be the first. Rose is a hell of a offensive player but his defense still needs lots of work.

Um no.

In fact I showed a season where LBJ didn't have Wade and blew him out of the water.

So what's your point?

You clearly are still unable to follow the conversation. Saying LBJ has better secondary playmakers in Miami isn't up for debate. I never denied that. LBJ would be a better PG than Derrick Rose if LBJ was playing in Spain, Russia, or Memphis.

Pointing out LBJ's APG numbers this season while ignoring Wade sucking up some of those numbers is idiotic. it was like people last year bitching about Bosh being overrated because his scoring dropped. No shit?! he went to Miami to play with two other volume scorers. What'd ya think would happen? LBJ's skill set hasn't eroded, in fact this year it's expanded if anything so to try and point to 20 games worth of APG numbers in relation to Rose when evaluating the PG play of the two and who is better is both stupid and narrow minded.

Not surprisingly you are unable to grasp that.

When did I say that assists per-game is the one and only measurement of what makes a good point guard?

No it's not.

Take defense away and I'm STILL taking LBJ with out a second of hesitation.

It's STILL not close.

Where LeBron James has gotten better this year is at scoring closer to the basket. His point guard skills have not improved.

And this is called LBJ's overrating.

Rose,Wade,Durant can get in the paint better and easier than LBJ.That's why he chokes all the time when he has to close the game.Because he is not so good at getting in the paint.Deffenders are 10000% carefull and he ends up hitting a jump shot or losing the ball.

Real life......can't be this.

Yeah, very true. I know I would hate to see a PG who is able to score from everywhere on the floor and expand his scoring ranges.

WHUT?!?!?

:lmao:
