The pitch might actually be the QB misreading give vs. keep. The Bears run a bunch of this GT counter play and if Fields keeps it the Bears have a numbers advantage of blockers on the right side and theres a pretty big hole between the OLB and DE on the right side of the D. I obviously dont know the specific playcall here but weve seen this run where Fields keeps it, if pulling it was an option here Fields should have read the 3v4 on the left side of the line presnap and seen the pitch to a RB who has been on the team 5 days was probably DOA there.
There's a huge D tackle right in front of Fields. The read would be to pitch it. But the play design is stupid. It was doomed to fail.

So half of those sacks are on Fields.... THe grades were all that was needed, as the sacks are pretty relative to the QB as well.
Or u can watch Chase Daniel vid and see how many free rushers are allowed or our tackles going to smaller guys and leaving backs on DLmen.

I 100% believe its one of two things - 1) the prepped blocking assignments that are super awful, 2) the assignements Whitehair was making were super awful and he's bad at it, or 3) a combo of both of those issues.

Borom isn't that good, but the rest of the line look completely confused on who's blocking who with assignments that made no sense whatsoever.

These are utterly embarrassing. No one has a fucking clue half/all the time. What do they teach thes guys??? Nothing? This coaching staff can get gone. Whitehair blocking his own teammate ? WTF?
My favorite part of this is in the top vid when Whitehair and Carter wind up feeling each other up, both looking away from each other like junior high kids. And of course blocking no one.

Totally fucked up how we have a hole @ RG because Daivs isnt that guy, because Poles was fucking around with Jenkins emotions.. (y):poop: Poles.

Once again.. we need what we been needed since the last 2or3 seasons.
LT, Center & LG.
Move Jenkins back to RG where he's elite. they fucked this up big time.

Yeah, that's the buggest shame about the OLine this year. Fix RT, only to screw up RG, which was fine before.

Davis has to go to LG when he returns. He isn't playing well enough to get to choose his position.

Wait, what?

So you are blaming Wright for three of their losses?

Seeing that the Bears played 6 games this season, Wright playing "all of 3 games in his career" means that he was major-league loafing on the other 3 games.

Shame on him for loafing or shame on you for badmouthing your own team's best O lineman.
Might wanna double check the date I posted that. They had played 3 games at that point

Davis was playing pretty damn good before the injury. Now you could say he missed too much time but his play dominated the Commies on TNF. As well as Denver too

id like to know why Whitehair and his god awful snaps that has ruined countless plays was good enough for Fields for 5.5 weeks but not good enough for Bagent?

You guys finally smelling the sabotage?

It seemed like a pretty good draft for C and there were top players available to us in the 2-3 and even later. It seemed to me that they were focused on only that one guy from Penn State and once he was overdrafted that just forgot the position
My recollection as well, I was upset.

No need for concern. I sent Max Crosby a care package of JD and blow.
Could you send one of those care packages my way?!

I’ll handle the next weeks pass rusher, I promise

I thought it would be a good idea to track the performance of our OLineman since it has been the worst performing group in terms of sacks per pass attempt the last two years. Hope this group shows improvement throughout the year. I will try to update after every 3 weeks.

(PS. I don't own any subscription, so I have limited access in what grades/stats are available to me.)
