besides morin i liked pisani out there. nice $500K player. thought makarov was decent. officiating was comical. overall fun to see the indianhead skating again.

Apparently there is good reason for me not being a NHL coach. Would be interesting to see game stats for the game but they don't seem top be posted anywhere yet.



Edit: Funny that another poster used the same discriptive term (timid) to describe his play.



Edit2: Looks like Boynton is going to collect a fine for his throat cutting gesture after being owned by Jones. Thought his hip check on Durno was clean.

Nice to see the kids play. however, again with Cullimore again looking like a goof.



Good to see Sharp and Toews score in front of the folks.



Keith looked a little out of it. also, him being out there for such a long time is beyond me.

Pisani did look great. He seemed to really click with Toews, too bad they probably won't be on ice at the same time much except maybe a penalty kill.

Really, you thought him throwing a knee at the player like that was clean? I thought it was suspension worthy. I know he's a Hawk, but the hockey player in me was very happy to see him get his ass kicked after such a dirty and dangerous hit.





I really liked what I saw in Makarov. Morin looked good as well. I liked Skille as well. And Pisani. That's about it off the top of my head for the new guys.



Turco sucked, but no surprise there. He was awful last year.

Am I the only one that though Hendry looked okay? Aside from the clear...I thought he had a solid game.



Again, I think it would be a fucking travesty if Makarov is not with the big club this year. My gut tells me he's likley a replacement for Steeger...but I could be wrong.

Explain just how the **** he sucked? Please. Since the only fucking goal he gave up was the one Cullimore mis played. He stopped 12 out of 13 shots and the only one going in was the one his d man misplayed. Yea he sucked arlight. I'm thinking he's not the one that sucks Sonny.



As for the knee, really? Maybe you should watch the OTHER player stick his leg out.



Happy to see a Hawk get his ass kicked? Nice.
