The Cubs are said to not be interested in Reynolds at all. Also, Ramirez will not move to 1B whatsoever.
Mark Reynolds is available in Arizona....I know he strikes out alot, but his power in Wrigley would be scary.
Would you guys like him?
Move Aramis to 1st, Reynolds at 3rd
D-Backs are rebuilding (again) so they want young guys back
Thoughts?
I agree with CO for once. But waldo says that its been reported that they have no interest. And he costs too much IMO.
"Waldo says..." Exactly. Waldo isn't a creditable source.
Costs too much? 5 million for a 3 win player is too much?
As in prospects, not $. The asking price.
And waldo reads reports and we have pulled this out of thin air.
Ramirez doesn't want to move to 1B. But, I'd be fine with Reynolds at 1B. In fact, I would love that.
Never knew you worked for the Cubs.
omfg you read my flippin mind, I was thinking exactly the same thing. like they talk on the phone in depth about what aram wants and doesnt want to do. too funny
In his defense and trust me I don't want to be at is defense. Ramirez has said to the media, he does not want to play first.
sure, alot players say they dont want to do certain things, and look what happens, they are doing it. I put no stock in what players say.
peavy- im not going to the AL just off the top of my head.
Yeah I know what you mean, but the Peavy situation is a different scenario. However, maybe Ramirez will let the Cubs try him at 1B and he'll turn out liking 1B.

I'm sure for each thing you think of, there are 5 going the other way.
Torii Hunter doesn't want to play for the Cubs, he's not playing for the Cubs.
Plus, Ramirez is the heart of this team. Why would they go and piss him off? If he doesn't want to play 1st, he's not going to be playing first.

You sure love talking out your ass. :lmao:
I sure hope Lefty doesnt get a hold of his "heart" post.
that'd be gold..ray::lmao:
It is just a ignorant way to look at baseball and baseball operations, there are some fans that are just so delusional and they have this thing for "heart, Fire, Passion, and grindiness that it makes me ill. And as any knowledgeable cub fan would know, aram is falling out of the "favorite cub" position by many fans. what a bunch of non sense with some of these "heart" fans. just stop it.
