Can't wait to see Franco get torn apart.

Wiseau said he's gonna make a prequel in 3D. Also, he sells The Room script on his website. And it comes with underwear that he personally designed. Anyway, how is your sex life?

He was trying to make a good movie, a drama, but he is so Special person he made a brilliant comedy, everyone was taking the project and themselves seriously.

Now that he knows it's a joke, will he try to make a comedy? Because that shit doesn't work with comedies, bad ones are just bad.

I'm looking forward to Dunkirk, being released 7/20

In May 1940, Germany advanced into France, trapping Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. Under air and ground cover from British and French forces, troops were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach using every serviceable naval and civilian vessel that could be found. At the end of this heroic mission, 330,000 French, British, Belgian and Dutch soldiers were safely evacuated.

LOL.

The Godfather. III was weak, lame and should never have been made, but 1-3 was the greatest trilogy ever. I and II are in the top 5 movies ever made, and you ignored them. Like I said before, we do not agree on anything entertainment.

Star Wars I was a children's movie. The other 2 are not strong enough to save that weak ass first B movie.

Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones?

That was an amazing logistical feat.

Valerian and the City of a thousand planets.

Pros: Big, colorful universe. Great job creating a plethora of species of aliens on a grande scale.

Cons: Woefully miscast. The main characters sounded and acted like a couple of petulant millenials.

3.5/5

Glad it didn't get worse. :smug:

I honestly didn't know what to expect it had probably been 25 years since I had seen it. It was actually pretty good. I might have to watch the second one, I am not sure I have ever seen the second one.

Resident Evil The Final Chapter - 4/10

I have remained a Resident Evil fan despite the movies taking nosedive after nosedive post movie 1....

Not gonna lie, I am happy this is the Final Chapter (even tho they left it open ended)... they made 6 movies and never developed a real story arc for the entire series... almost every movie ended and the sequel would begin by abandoning the previous movie.... with the exception of 1 and 2 which were the best of the franchise.

The final movie is kinda lolz-worthy at how they decide to kinda craft this final narrative as if there has been one the whole time....

Dunkirk. 8/10.

Some have said it is the best war movie ever... I say no. Both "Band of Brothers" and "Saving Private Ryan" are better War movies/series. I did find it a better than the "Hacksaw Ridge" (So wish Hanks and Co had tackled "Hacksaw Ridge" rather than Mel Gibson). There is something in the ending of Dunkirk that bothered me, don't care to share as it would be a spoiler, but rather foolish on the individuals part at the very end.

That is a shame, I wanted this to be a home run, sounds like a triple. I would add Patton and A Walk In The Sun to that list of great war movies/series. Band Of Brothers is one of the things I watch it when ever I see it on, it still cracks me up that Jimmy Fallon is in it, GTFO of Bastogne with your tight pants.

Patton is the greatest war movie of all time. When I see actual photographs of Gen. Patton, I think 'that doesn't really look like him', in my brane George C. Scott is Patton. You talk about a role that a man was born to play, that is it.

Scott is great in Patton, I can't think of a better performance from him, plus the fact he was the perfect choice for that role.

True story.
I'm on Ft Riley Kansas doing some CST and got a brief in an old briefing room on the old side of base.
This was one of the historic buildings which are protected.
Patton was once a CO there and that was at one time his office building.
I had to use the can and the one down stairs was being cleaned.
I walked upstairs and into a small bathroom at the end of the hall.
It was older with solid wood stall doors and brass handles.
On the back of the door someone had very neatly and carefully carved.
"Sit up straight, Patton shat here".

I always wondered if it might have been him... but I doubt it.

George C Scott is Patton. There is no other role ever created and acted that has been personified as well as Scott did with Patton.
