Have you seen it yet?
Interested to hear what someone else who read the series thought.

I have not. I think it was a mistake to cram all of that in to one movie though.

Logan Lucky 6/10

I was expecting it to be funnier than it was. It was enjoyable, but not that great.

Wind River 9/10

Great indie movie. This might be the best film I've seen this year. I highly recommend seeing it.

Hitman's Bodyguard 6/10

Not a great movie, but a fun summer action/comedy movie. My girl wanted to see it, I didn't really have interest because I thought it would be complete shit but I enjoyed it. I liked the chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson. Much better duo than the Rock and Kevin Heart.

Stronger was good, not great. I think it suffers from an out acting problem. Tatiana Maslany is so fabulous and authentic that all the other actors fail to keep up. Even Jake G wasn't as impressive as reviews are stating. I didn't see his character come through, I saw Jake G the actor as a guy without legs. The movie just dragged when Maslany wasn't on screen pouring out her heart and soul. Gotta go with a B grade.

Saw IT and Hitman's bodyguard while we were in Vegas.

I'd give IT an 8. First time in 15 years wife and I have seen a scary movie at the theater. She hates them but went after my week of pleading leading up to the trip. Yes, there were plenty of "gotcha" moments that had me kind of, sort of, scream out loud but there were too many of them IMO. I did like how IT the story was explained though. Maybe my memory is dusty, but I felt like I got more backstory. We were stoned and slightly buzzed on red wine. I enjoyed.

Hitman's bodyguard had a few laughs. Score of 6.

Donnie Darko 5/5

Had no idea what to expect. Also can't believe I haven't seen it already. Worth the $30 on amazon.

Saw AMerican Assassin last night. Pretty good action movie. I really like Micheal Keaton as an actor and he had a good part in it.

A Ghost Story - 5/5

A film about the lonely journey of a ghost and seeing time pass before his eyes. It's a profound and beautiful film. Very thought provoking. The score and cinematography are amazing as well.

It was ok, the humor was good, but I never really liked the young man playing spiderman, in fact I found him annoying.

Watched Bladerunner 2049 last night. It was like 2:40 and I still wish it was longer.
