Annihilation (2018) Amazon

Starring Natalie Portman and Jenifer Jason Lee. A meteor or something falls on a Florida everglade and a bubble zone (like Fortnite) grows changing everything inside. Everyone who's gone in hasn't come back. It's an old sci-fi concept but the storyline is somewhat fresh. It's a bit gloomy and lowkey, not a lot of action, and not very deep intellectually either. But there's some nice electronic music and special effects. You'd really have to like the concept and be in the mood.

I took my girlfriend out to Isn’t it Romantic since she sees anything I want to see. When I first saw a trailer for it, I thought it looked like a steaming pile of shit. It definitely lived up to that. I’m really surprised it’s got good reviews. I don’t think I laughed once and Rebel Wilson just mumbles the whole damn movie. There were some parts I didn’t understand her due to her accent combined with the mubling. Terrible movie. Glad it was only an hour and 20 minutes long.

Maybe I’m just traumatized from seeing jackass in 3D. Nothing like a dick shooting at your head to say never again lol

I always find it interesting when someone says: I saw the trailer, it looked horrible, and I went and paid money to see it.

WHY?

My girlfriend wanted to see it. She sees shit she has no interest in like Hereditary because I want to see it. If she didn't want to see it, I would have never watched it.

I mean, if she goes to what I want to see, why wouldn't I take her to what she wants to see? That would be a dick move to tell her no when she goes with me to see shit she has no interest in, but agrees to see it only because I want to.
