Keyword in there...

Well, you didn't say "I went because my girlfriend wanted to see it".

You said she will go to whatever YOU pick.

So it still makes no sense, unless you live with your parents, and the theater is the only place the two of you can be alone.

Abducted in Plain Sight is 5/5 bonkers!

Everyone is recommending it to me. When I ask what’s it about all I get is -what the actual **** did I just see lol

yea....my brother recommended that I watch it. Didn't take long for me to be like "WTF" and each time I kept thinking "well, it can't get any weirder than this"...and each time I kept getting amazed at how much weirder it got.

Does anyone have any thoughts on " GLASS"?
Saw it over the weekend. It was alright. Nothing super monumental about it other than them leaving it open for like a billion sequels

I didn't like the ending. I just can't put my finger on it, but, M. Night Shyamalan movies seem to always lack something.

I liked Alita, but I will say I think that it should have been better. The dialogue was bad and there were different things that should have been fleshed out better. Everyone’s so worried about starting a franchise before they even put out a good movie. This definitely suffered from that.

Meet Joe Black (netflix) 8/10

Never saw it before. Businessman Anthony Hopkins visited by Death (Brad Pitt) who wants to experience some life, including a relationship with Hopkins daughter. Pretty interesting. Some good life advice. I was surprised by the 3hr runtime.

Yeah( I saw previews a while back and)....the trying to...... "find who you are" plot seems like another old, unoriginal formula, only now being used with a cyborg girl. And if u say the dialogue was bad, then it sounds like a reason to avoid seeing Alita ( lol..... I hate bad dialogue)

Exactly....and when he's doing his thing. .....IMO, there seems to be something lacking. It's like he's trying too hard, to be profoundly esoteric with his movies. Hence, giving the audience an enigmatic experience with his movies.

the wife and I watched Destination Wedding. It's a rom-com with Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder, but it's kinda weird. Surprised to see that I didn't mind it so much.

I'd give it a 3/5

Down.... a Hulu Original.

6/10. It was pretty predictable. I basically called everything that happened. But for pretty much only having two actors throughout the film, it was okay.

Beyond the Curve.

Flat Earthers get their say, but seem to actually just be some sort of emotional support group. Interesting movie. These people have no idea what science is, and do it backwards. Make a proposition, and set out to prove it, not try to disprove it. They get disproof, but discard it, and try again, and again, and again. It's crazy, but kind of sad also. When they have their first convention, all the talk is about loving each other, and tears.

I give it a 7/10. Worth a watch to understand the real need to be a part of a group like this.

Saw Green Book the other night.

I thought it was very well made, very well acted. I can see why it won Best Picture especially given the alternatives.

Spike can whine, but it was good.

But was it a accurate portrayal ? Don Shirley's family says no.
