Players around the league are watching how the fanbase & local media are trying to destroy Derrick Rose. And Why?.......Because he chose to take his time returning from a torn ACL. His choice is the exact same choice that Jerry Reinsdorf suggested that he make. Other players know that if the fans/local media will turn on a humble hometown kid because of injuries, they don't stand a chance of coming to this city & avoiding the criticism.

It was bad during the post-dynasty years when Jerry Krause had Benny The Bull at airports trying to woo McGrady & Duncan. The Bulls were a laughingstock around the league because of that. He was talking about a luncheon he was at with the director of the NCAA, and the director was saying that the gpa requirement for athletes was raised to 2.3. Many people, especially from CPS were saying their decision was racist. The director responded, "Isn't it funny that you don't think black high school students are capable of attaining a gpa requirement?"

That completely reminds me of this post you made. You don't think Derrick Rose is capable of hearing bad news? If Rose did this shit in LA, NY, or Philly or any other major market he'd get "crucified" in the media too. I like how you say the way the Bulls are handling this will dictate whether FA's come here or not...they aren't coming here anyways even when Rose was God's gift to the town and no one was saying a bad word about him.

Everyone deserves criticism when it's deserved. Derrick Rose has been getting blasted by local media & fans because he didn't return from an injury fast enough for their liking. That's where all of this began & it's the root of the criticism that he's getting today.

When he signed his max deal, every Bulls fan & local media figure applauded him for doing so, especially the fact that he didn't pull a Lebron/D-Wade/Bosh by signing a shorter deal after his rookie contract, that would have allowed him to test free-agency early. The guy was the youngest ever MVP & signed a max contract after his rookie deal just like every other franchise player signed after their rookie deal.

Rose has absolutely no reason to talk. Whether it is about a rebuild or anything. He needs to have played a bit more to have an opinion.

Please show me Derrick Rose's quotes in regards to how the FO should proceed with their job. You're basing all of your venom off a rumor from a NYC columnist. You can't show me anything because his opinion has not been given.
