He is deferring to Jimmy Butler and facilitating. Letting Jimmy be the man. Rose knows more than most that going balls out means absolutely nothing in the regular season. Rose has another gear which he displayed last year. The eye injury set him back obviously and will not be right until the All-Star break. Stop bitching.

As a guy who experienced severe eye injuries in his life, I am kind of confused about his eyes still being blurred. Anyone know if this is typical when you crack an orbital socket and why it happens?

i don't get why people think just because he won an MVP 5 years ago we're supposed to celebrate him when hes not living up to what he is being paid

you don't have to go balls out to be able to finish a layup. do i hope he figures it out? of course i do. but i don't have much hope at this point. honestly other than a very brief flash here and there he has never looked like the old Rose.

also all that time off he had to study the game and work on his shot and he comes back and doesn't have an improved BBIQ, doesn't have any new savvy vet moves, and his jumper is worse than before

It is telling that as bad as Rose has played, he has yet to get dogged out by a premiere point guard. Not Curry, not Westbrook, Lillard, Parker or Paul. Look it up.

I think the fact that you even said this speaks volumes. Like the standard you're holding him to is "well at least he's not giving up 30 and 10 every night."

Guys are acting like rose is dominating his matchups against elite PGs. He's not. Other than the OKC game, rose is still playing pedestrian and inefficient basketball against the cream of the crop. The bulls are doing a pretty good job defensively on other elite PGs. Rose has something to do with it as does team defense and butler and Kirk getting some cracks there as well. Offensively however, rose is pretty much the same night in and night out.

No doubt there will one day be a 30 for 30 on Rose's fall from grace. Heartbreaking, man.

i don't blame the fans at all but i used to see on CSN Chicago FB page many meme and jokes about Rose, i fear that Kris Bryant will be the next one if he doesn't hit everyday

This entire conversation is about what? The guy can't make 50% of uncontested wide open reverse layups!! Guys with fucking prosthetic legs can finish better than him!! I have never seen anything like this. Is Rose missing layups to toy with spreads? He has a good name for it. He wants more money. Some of his misses and decisions are inexplicable for a player of his caliber.
