To me the Baez call-up is an indicator we will see Jackson and Vitters soon. The call-ups have begun for all the minor league system.

I don't think the Baez call up should be read into more than just one of the system's best prospects being ready for the next level. Guys with the higher ceilings will be put in the best spots for them and everyone else will be shuffled around them. Hence a guy like Saunders who has been raking will go from AZ to Daytona to Peoria.

Vitters and Jackson will be here this year. It is just a matter of how soon between now and the end of Iowa's season.

No Jackson anymore?

The whole list is terrible lol... and the guy who made it claimed that Almora hadn't played yet this season, even though it came out today.

Candelario and Vitters in Top 5 :lmao:

Vitters is like 7 and yeah, him saying Almora not playing yet is terrible. Just for that, the list loses all credability.

Maybe Raley might be okay but Rusin is letting baserunners on left-and-right so far in this game. Luckily he's kept them to just one run but I doubt it continues.

Rusin does have 5 strikeouts so far in less than three innings, however.

Raley is the most interesting pitcher in AAA to me. Actually writing up right now about the 40 man roster and rule 5 draft right now because the Cubs have a lot of interesting calls to make with Raley, Rusin, Struck, McNutt, Whitenack, Brett Jackson, Christian Villanueva, Michael Burgess, AJ Morris, Luis Liria, Jose Rosario, Starlin Peralta, Michael Brenly, Justin Bour, etc., etc. rule 5 eligible this offseason.

Enjoy that. Brett Jackson is having trouble recognizing this pitcher's pitches because he's gone down twice looking.

Rusin actually got through seven full while giving up just that one run.

Vitters should be up by now. Let him work on DEF at MLB level. Not going to improve any different from AAA to MLB games. He will improve by doing work before game. Rather have MLB coaches working with him anyways
