I trust Theo and Jed's call on when Vitters is ready. It will happen this year, but it is up to them when the right time is because developing Vitters is more important than the major league team.

I think his argument was that Vitters' development is better served at the MLB level, but I'm assuming that Vitters hasn't been called up because he's not at that 162-game plateau yet at AAA. They seem to be pretty adamant about that at least, and less worried about Super Two (based on what happened with Rizzo).

I understand that is his argument. I am saying that Theo and Jed are the best people to make that call. For what it is worth miCubs is saying that both have been called up today.

Wut. Well, at least Brett Jackson can get on base here and there.

It is the only place that it is reporting it, but they are a pretty good source since Jordan Bernfield and others are involved with the website.

Will DeJesus go back to RF and Jackon play CF? If LaHair was to get benched or traded.

Unless Sori got moved you have to figure the OF on a daily basis will be Soriano-BJax-DeJesus. Got to figure that LaHair is moved to the bench at this point.

Maybe that's the reason the line-up has not been announced yet. The line-up is usually announced by now... I sure thay are called up and hope they're in the line-up today.

If they are that means there are three 22 year olds and one 23 year old in the lineup.

I go by baseball age. Too confusing otherwise because I think BJax turns 24 soon too.

Another source is confirming BJax. No other word on Vitters. No word on who is sent down but Campana and Cardenas is my call.

Then if the Cubs call-up Chris Rusin, they will have a young SP (25).
