Consumer confidence index was brutal today. Once those purse strings tighten up, stock market will get hit hard. our gdp is like 70% consumption.

This is why it never makes sense to me that politicians try to keep money out of our hands.

mayyyybbeee...but, daddy trump bux already “got” us some more. Even though states are struggling to implement it. We have a 3 year old in charge of it due to congress not being able to. I am not trusting the 3 year old in chief to get anything of substance done. It’ll sound solid, but like everything he’s done in his life...it’ll lack substance.

Oh its coming.

People can keep pretending... keep saying stimulus.... keep touting how much fucking money we printed to pretend.... but eventually the house of cards will collapse.

And knowing how Trump works.... it will collapse right around the time he releases w/e October surprise they cook up.

Kind of off topic, but in the realm of investing, has anyone else noticed the price of ammunition lately?! It is pre Hillary Trump election prices when everyone thought Hillary was going to win.

not a gun guy, but that doesn’t surprise me. I imagine demand is sky high in the middle of a pandemic and race riots with a highly divisive election a couple months away

I had looked up a couple of munitions and gun companies when a lot of this shit was starting to see if it was worth investing and I didn't see the potential there. Not sure if I was right or wrong, but I was looking for a quick dollar. In and out.

I would not.... shit is gonna crash sometime in the next 12 months and you can buy double of both.

I think anyone buying at the highs right now will be very disappointed they didn't wait.

Just my opinion.

I bought some Dividend ETF that was still sitting around the lows of March/April, but I am holding my capital for buying more stocks.

There is zero chance this market keeps heading upward with 50M unemployed and thousands of covid infections and deaths every single day.

Srs we may have an even better buying opportunity than March, I think it will be worth waiting on.

They both stop trading today at close until Monday at 930am. They split. HIstory shows about a day or two of good gains after splits and then see big pullbacks. Buy then.

TSLA is overvalued and is risky but it doesn't trade on analyst data. TSLA doesn't care what you think.

TSLA is a fucking weird stock. It is driven by appetite it seems.

I don't think Apple is a bad investment ever. But Tesla man, no thanks. I agree with @Ares about a decent pullback eventually, but that wouldn't stop me from value investing in Apple. Buy some now, buy some tomorrow, buy some when there's a downturn. Tesla is way too risky for my blood. It's basically being driven by fanboys. One of the reasons I went into NKLA when I did and have kept an eye on promising electric stocks like NIO or PLUG. You get in those at the right time and fanboys pump them up enough for you to make a quick buck. SHLL was another one I had my eye on, should've went in. Could've made a 50% investment in the last month or so.

I was looking at Ruger Firearms when it was selling at around $55, but got a little gun shy and didn't pull the trigger. Then it jumped to around $90.

One of my many regrets since Covid started.

Ammo has done the exact same thing. Prices are fucking ridiculous right now.
