Somewhat serious. Stocks are a great buy today and tomorrow. This is the pullback it needed.

I am entering into...

SQ
NVDA
RKT
DKNG
AMD
NIO
FCAU

and adding to...
V
MSFT
AMZN
AAPL

Gains will be had.

it definitely needed this pullback...I’m just not sure it’s done yet. I did however, puss out and sold my VIX calls because I was up over 100%. Feel like it’s going higher still, but couldn’t ignore locking in those profits.

As it should. I was astonished when the DOW Joans only dipped below 20k for a very short time. Nothing about the stock market makes sense to me right now. I am anticipating a decline (maybe not everyday) but for the foreseeable future and if Biden is elected, we could see it below 20k again.

Once it started running away, I was putting more money in bonds. I just increased my position in CGC when it dropped to 15.60 today. Really upset I didn't buy SHLL when it was $19.

They both stop trading today at close until Monday at 930am. They split. HIstory shows about a day or two of good gains after splits and then see big pullbacks. Buy then.

TSLA is overvalued and is risky but it doesn't trade on analyst data. TSLA doesn't care what you think.

I waited on Tesla.......bought 20 shares today. I did pull the trigger on Apple though over the weekend.

Great decision! I bought some more AAPL today too. I sold all the TSLA 3 days ago and still am unsure of it's bottom, but if you are long term tou are fine.
TSLA is about to announce a million mile battery this month that should erase any doubts about their longevity in the market.
AAPL? Buy whenever and that shit goes up. That company prints money.

sidenote. If you like money look into RKT. It dipped back into the 24 -25 range and it's a steal right now even though it just IPO'd a few weeks ago. They killed earnings on Wed.

So you think TSLA is a good long term investment? I've been wanting to add it to my portfolio, but it was out of control IMO. I might now after the split since it's more affordable.

EDIT: I'd like to add GOOGL and AMZ to that too, but I don't see the purpose of having .0000012 shares

TSLA is still over bought. But it never seems to matterto this stock.

I personally believe AMZN will take over the world and Bezos will split the stoxk 25 to 1. It is a great long term parking lot for your money IMO.

Any of you guys do fundrise? I was looking into it and it just seems like REITs to me, and something I can't easily sell off. Anyone have experience with the platform?

I have some money in Fundrise, it is much like a REIT.

I like their platform and the way it lays out all the projects you're invested in and gives you updates on the projects as they go thru various cycles.

When you say "Something I can't easily sell off".... well yeah.... welcome to real estate.

You're buying into real estate development.... buying, building, operating/selling, its not a stock option.

If you're going into Fundrise or a REIT, you better be looking to plant your money for the long haul.

Only way to get short term real estate gains is buying and flipping houses, in which you'd still have your cash tied up for 3-9 months on the low end.

I like some REITs and think that they are interesting investments. When you get into non traded investments though you have to be aware (and trust) the company that is doing the investing and what their end goal is.

So this like hard money lending?
I personally had heard a co-worker mention it so I looked into it a year or so ago.
For my money I pick individual REITS with TDA.
My faves are CCI and all the storage co. guys(Public, Cube Smart, Extra Space)

By law a REIT has to return 90% of returns back to investors. Humans don't seem to stop multiplying ad accumulating junk,so the storage industry is fantastic IMO.
CCI is the Company that holds many of the cell towers so with 5g coming out, this one is crushing it and at a good buy point right now.

@Ares, what is your timeline with Funrise? Did you do the minimum buy in? What are returns and will you re-invest or look elsewhere?

I've only been in Fundrise for like 10 months, and I put in a minimum when I started, added on each month and recently put in a good chunk to bring my total in to a level I like.

My timeline with them is 10-15 years.... I am in on the ground level of their stuff, even bought into their "IPO".

I am reinvesting all dividends, which right now, are minimal.

What I want out of Fundrise or REITs or Dividend funds is something I buy into long term, reinvest dividends, and build a position that will produce meaningful income for me in the future.

Honestly, if you are looking for quick anythings, do not put your money into Fundrise.

In my experience it takes time for your money to get in, it takes time for your positions to come to maturity, and then it takes time to get dividends out of that position.

I mean you're literally buying into projects where they are renovating and then operating rental properties.

One should expect it to take time for their money to turn into a position that pays.... lol imagine joining some other people on a rental property venture... they are in the middle of renovating the property they bought, which you want in on.... and a week in you are like "Where's my returns?" lol while you look on at an empty apartment building.
