Yeah, none of the pundits want him coming to the Sox (big surprise there).
The Dodgers or Cubs will probably get him for a ridiculously long and lucrative contract.

170 million is way too much money. You can get so much with that money. If we lose this negotiation to that number there is no way I can fault the sox.

hes peanuts compared to tanaka. there is no way tanaka is worth 150 plus...let alone 170. he is not darvish. let the cubs have a dumb ass contract to deal with.

@JesseSanchezMLB: Source tells me clubs have not heard back from Tanaka & nobody knows where they stand. Most had about 60 mins to make a case. No visits.
