I'm sorry but I just haven't seen Leddy being an issue the first two games.

For a 19 yr old kid I think he has handled it quite well.

Granted #2 has played way more minutes than him but I bet if you look at giveaways per minute played #2 has him beat the first 2 games.

And talking to someone for an hour somehow gives you insight into their on-ice personality?

I guess Probert was a really, really nice guy on the ice too.
Yes. Buf has twice the talent and it shows on the ice when buf applies himself. How you can comment on anyone personality and compare these two specific players is baffling. Sorry I know buf pretty well.

But you weren't in the buf when you got to know buf......right?

The guy with his name on the cup 12 times agrees with you, but would like him to have some more experience at a higher level before throwing him to the wolves. Said he, leddy, is the future pp qb of the hawks

I've asked before and I'll ask again, why does a lumbering Scott get so many chances but Lalonde fucks up once and is sent to Rockford?
Probably because Lalonde wouldn't benefit as much playing a limited 6/7th role on this team as much as he would playing more minutes in Rockford (and in more key and/or special team situations). Pretty sure the Hawks have him in their plans, and they are just taking their time w/ him, letting him learn his role as a more talented cog as opposed to a 5/6/7 guy (at present moment) in the NHL. Not exactly sure why he wasn't looked at to fill in when #51 went down, but Leddy was given that chance as opposed to LaLonde for reasons that people who know much more than I decided upon.

Ice time has nothing to do with him playing poorly, that's not what I was getting at. I think he has performed admirably, just think that you would see more of a Hendry or Boynton for defensive purposes. Shot's against totals were much better on Saturday Night. The point was that Scott doesn't fit in the rotation at all.

FYI

Just to let Canadian TV viewers who are interested know, that the NHL Network HD (NHL8HD) with Shaw Direct is free tonight showing the Chicago-Buffalo game. It might also be free with Rogers...

Ugh, 2-0 already with less than 3 minutes played. I think I will go back to sleep as this crap is not worth getting up for.

If Hawks would have buried their chances instead of hitting the post they would probably have won a game by now.

Hammer destroyed Pominville. He'll get suspended for sure for that one.
