Great game for the boys. A real team builder here and great stepping stone to start the season with adversity and pushing it for the W.

Remember this night ladies and gents, today was a good building block for the season.

Great games by Corey, Leddy, Hossa, Skille, Stalberg, Kaner, Toews, and almost everyone but Scott and Bolland... lol

I'll take it. A win is a win. Still several guys that need to remove their cranium from their rectum, but strong games from some key players brought home the W.

Hossa will score fifty goals this season. Book it.

Good win after an awful start. Hossa is a beast and is so far the only one of the "big guns" that is getting it done. The defense gets fixated on the puck too much and resulted in a couple of goals. Need to get that shit sorted soon. Unfortunate circumstances on the Hammer hit, but doubt there will be a more severe suspension than 1-2 games. Crawford looked good, I think.

We have a goalie!!!! Great game by Crawford, can't pin any of those goals on him. Hopefully Q will at the very least give him 50% of the starts this month. If he continues to play like that I suspect he'll have the job full time by Thanksgiving the latest.

To be fair, the first was definitely not his fault. Redirect close to the net. Second goal maybe you could call bad rebound control.

I doubt it. Turco is still a better goalie until proven otherwise.

yeah I did cause I actually watch the games as opposed to looking at stats to decide who sucks and who doesn't. Neither of those goals were his fault, its not easy to stop shots taken from guys left alone from 5 feet and in.

No soft goals tonight which is a first on the season. That's all I want out of my goalie this year.

Yep... my point was if that had been Turco who let in those 2 goals in 3 minutes and still played awesome the rest of the game like Crawford... "you know who" would be crucifying Turco regardless.

random thoughts:

1) no words to describe Hossa's game right now

2) Craw big time outplayed the Vezina winner. Nice.

3) Hammer seems to be suffering from a big Stanley Cup hangover.

4) Note to Brouwer: The season has begun.

5) If Hammer plays Saturday, better have Scott ready to go.

5) Scott hate is messed up. He's doing his role fine. Actually i was waiting for one of our guys to get jacked after the Hammer hit. I really wanted to see Scott give the punk a tune up.

Nice comeback win.

Hossa is a beast.

I'm liking Bickell more and more.

Skille plays with a lot of energy. Hopefully that translates into getting some pucks in the net.

Crawford came back after the bad start instead of folding like some goalies do.

Bolland..........ugh.

Did you guys notice late in the game on the PK the puck went to Scott and he went to clear it, but couldn't because he didn't realize he was holding his stick wrong??? He swept at the puck and missed it cause the toe of his stick was flat on the ice as opposed to the stick blade. That's the kind of stuff I have to yell at some of my peewees about from time to time.

Hey Sonny, did you notice Keith and Seabs look like dog shit on the first two goals? Its sport. It happens. FYI, if you point out every mistake, your going to get carpal tunnel really fast.

Yup, that play was just brutal... who makes a mistake like that? Dumbest thing I've seen in a long time.

He had just been run into and almost lost the handle...it happens.

At least he had it on the ice which Seabs might consider doing once in a while. Seabrook was HORRIBLE (on ice and a major cause for all 3 goals against tonight) as well as the author of many other scary plays.
