Jim, stop hitting the replay button. He only tripped once on that bad ice. You do remember that the mat was there for the banner ceremony?

Or were you crying to much to notice.

As for the Depleted D. I think they did well and the Hawks will have enough D men to have the three lines going tonight. Have no problem with the Preds. Hawks win 6-1
Actually, I've been fine with John Scott out there. I've tried to pay attention to him while watching the game, and have noticed nothing really that bad.

I have no worries about the Hawks either now or later this season. Their defense is just fine. Their goaltending is just fine. It's a long season.

BTW: I agree with your score prediction. Toews is going to score tonight, and so is Kopecky.

I'm surprised he didn't sell those tickets anyway.

I think Crawford is in because realistically no matter who is win we should win this game with all the players missing for Nashville. It makes sense to me, he won the last one, he needs more experience, he needs more confidence, and we should win either way. Why not put him in, and as was stated, Turco probably plays the back to back. I don' think there is a controversy at all, but anytime you can get quality time for Crawford against a team you should beat easily I say go for it. With every team gunning for the Hawks there will not be this many opportunities. Everyone is going to be bringing their A game.

As for OCC, at least the raffle proceeds are going to charity.

Since the son left, the OCC choppers have really sucked.

Hopefully the old man didn't **** the Hawks chopper all up.
This one is a "hawk" bike. It's pretty cool. The gas tank is signed by the entire SC team. It will also being going on the ice with the trophy.

I hope Bickell has a big night, this is the last night I own him on my fantasy team. I find Crawford starting to be very interesting. thinking Hossa is going to have another big game.

Nope. And I knew about it three weeks ago. It's been done for quite a while.

Hmm, Crawford in net?

I was hoping to see Turco but hey, I don't mind Crawford either. Kinda weird that Q is pulling out the goalie card so early in the season... looks like there definitely is a battle starting.

Competition for starts in goal will work favorably IMO. Keeps them both motivated and focused on the task at hand. Doesn't bother me at all.

Would like to see

Teef - Seabs

Boynton-Leddy

Scott-Hendry on D

Hopefully Q moves Skille or Stahlberg up a line or 2 and Pisani down to the 4th.

Seemed to work out last year. If our defense was playing like they can the hawks would be 3-0 right now.

The PK Monday night was pretty unreal. Scott included on that.

Or 4 games in 6 nights is the reason?

The one time I notice him being bad is when he has to skate back to get the puck on a dump in. Guys can almost beat him in when he's starting at the blue line and they're starting at center ice.

No way Ton....simply a hefty schedule this week.

We'll see if Crawford gets one of the back-to-back games. I'm not buying the hefty schedule... there's no reason Turco shouldn't be starting tonight if he was deemed the #1 guy, he played 5 days ago, I'd say that's more than enough time to rest.

Not saying Crawford is the #1 either, but it seems like with Q we won't know until 20 games left of the season... this season seems to be continuing that trend early. Just a small observation.
