Screw the effort, Jim. They LOST....bottom line. Kane looked like a dipshit on both the breakaway and in the SO...another lost point. Effort doesn't cut it any more. W's do....

But, unlike Pez, I watched the WHOLE GAME....

They needs wins, but they also need to come together as a team if they're going to make a push down the stretch.

They had injuries and a two goal deficit to overcome.

Three in a row at home, with two against conference foes.

Come on Hawks, take my fucking playoff money!!!

Umm they are going to take your playoff money either way.

And someone told me tonight they do not allow you to use your Click Tix money as the deposit.

As for the game **** yea. They were down 2-0! Similar to the Stars last night being down 3-0? I think so, but the Hawk kept it coming.

Wow Kane couldn't finish against a great goalie. Looked like a dip shit?

I'll have to check on the ClickTix thing. They said that last year, but allowed it.

If they don't, I'll request a check out of my ClickTix account and pay it that way.

I never blast a player because of the shootout. It's such a crapshoot.

Kane played well AGAIN. I noticed several back checks.

Not even mentioning BACK TO BACK for us while they were there watching. Missing three forwards, against a team we have not played well the last two years. Or a team that ALWAYS plays us tuff...

They could have packed it in, but they didn't.

An impressive loss, if that's possible.

They really needed two points, but they needed this effort as well.

Perhaps it's something they can rally around.

Well at least it was a big and good goalie tonight. Our D has got to stop giving up so many quality breakaways. They are way too offensively minded most times. Phoenix beat us on the scoreboard, but not really on the ice. We had the puck twice as much as them.

I do like Frolik though. Good addition.

Thanks #2 for the point, at least. I guess the loser point might save us in the end.

Frolik could be stronger along the boards to be honest but otherwise alright so far o other complaints. Noticed a few times tonight he likes to hack at the puck along the boards where he should be rubbing the opposition player out to get control of the puck. But he isn't a big guy and that's his style.

We need physical players or everyone to play just that little bit more physical. Size isn't an excuse right now.

Brouwer had a very good game.

I would put Brouwer back on the top line, and have Sharp center for Frolik and Hossa.

That's a pretty soft second line, I admit, but Kopecky is slumping and completely blows as a centerman.

Troy excels on the top line.

This is a really good idea except you and I know that Hossa and Kopecky can't be separated.

It was also his guy that came down on a break away and scored the first goal.

Brouwer is hot and cold on the top line as well.

I'd let Bolland Center Frolik and Hossa and hopefully if Johnson is not out have him between Bickell and Brouwer.

That works too. Just no Kopecky in the middle.

Brouwer is enigmatic. He looks so dominating at times, and then he disappears.

Either way they need another scoring line now.

Sharp-Toews-Kane has been excellent the past two games.

Get the 2nd line going and now the checking lines of the other team has their work cut out for them.

Ultimately that means Hossa needs to start earning his 9 mil this year.

Sharp-Toews-Kane

Frolik-Bolland-Hossa

Brouwer-Johnson/Poltuny-Bickell

Kopecky-Dowell-Stahlberg

PP very good tonight. Then again they "should have" had two PP goals last night too.

Thanks NHL Officiating!

Hossa 9Mil?

Forgot aboot that.

Remember when this team comes out and says they are losing money that some of these contracts are front loaded. So while it might only effect the cap at the average per year salary, they are still paying the front end, higher portion, of the long term contract.

Plus the 5.6 mil for Huet to get lost.

Now in year 2095 Hossa will only be making a mil.

And just when are they going to "stop" raising prices? Are they going to RAISE them every year when they make the playoffs? Are they going to raise ST's every year for the forseeable future? When to they hit the means where they stay level? With McDouche and Money Hound Owner, I doubt ever. So I'm done soon. They can get some other chump in there to do that.

I'm betting on a 25% increase for next season.
