And no, they aren't tied for 7th as much as they are tied for 10th because they can go down in the standings without even playing a game. If someone loses they don't go up. they just stay tied. If they have the same number of points as another team but too more games, then they have lost more than the other team, they have a lower win percentage so they are not tied at all.



It's going to get tighter and tighter and stay this way all the way through the last game, there will be some separation, but I bet at the end of the season you still have at least 7 of these 10 teams fighting for a spot still able to take it from the other. Maybe 98 points and missing the playoffs is a little much, because they will all start taking points from each other, but I don't think that any of the teams are going to start running away with anything.

FYI we just moved from 11th to 10th. Why? Because the Stars lost and are now even with games played.



IF the Ducks lose to the Kings tomorrow night we then move to 9th. See how that works? It doesn't much matter now though as they have to win games to keep up or even in pts with those ahead of them.



If the Kings lose tomorrow and we beat the preds Thurs, we'll be in 8th on Thursday.

Yeah, I guess saying I don't care is not really accurate. I won't be upset if they don't make the playoffs, because I'm not expecting much out of this team. I will of course be happy if they DO make the playoffs, and will hope they do well, but really no skin off my back if they don't.

If we didn't win the Cup I'd be distrought right now. But knowing all the adversity this teams faced, after winning. Oh well.



They are relavent and that's all I care about other than winning the Holy Grail. Although I've always thought they'd make the playoffs so I'll be somewhat dissappointed if they don't. But also know next year they will be RELAVENT again. Unlike the more than decade we pretty much played DOORMAT.

Very well said,, I agree! there is no true Fan that would say they would not get upset over a team not making playoffs. Thats BULLCRAP! I can see not winning the cup again, thats normal but to win the cup and not even make playoffs, I would be very upset. But I still think we do..and get 6th seed, like I mentioned before.
