And no, they aren't tied for 7th as much as they are tied for 10th because they can go down in the standings without even playing a game. If someone loses they don't go up. they just stay tied. If they have the same number of points as another team but too more games, then they have lost more than the other team, they have a lower win percentage so they are not tied at all.



It's going to get tighter and tighter and stay this way all the way through the last game, there will be some separation, but I bet at the end of the season you still have at least 7 of these 10 teams fighting for a spot still able to take it from the other. Maybe 98 points and missing the playoffs is a little much, because they will all start taking points from each other, but I don't think that any of the teams are going to start running away with anything.

Incorrect, they do go up with Wins, and games played. If say ANY team with 68pts loses tonight, the Hawks go up because they've then played less games.



Do I really have to teach you this? I still stick with someone will get in with 92-94pts but I'm "guessing" just as much as you are. I'm just going with the Low number instead.



No team will run away which we agree on. Unless one gets 4-5 wins in a row. Let's see how we do in Nashville on Thursday.

As long as we keep getting those two points and not leaving any on the table for Western Conference teams by any means necessary, I could care less if Toews threatens to spit-roast duncan Keith's firstborn if it keeps the wins coming.

Umm hmm, even after they've been pulled off the ice during a morning skate, had closed door meetings, finding themselves on the outside looking in, put their coach in the hospital? They still need a kick in the ass with less that 25 games to play?



Whatever, I'm done giving this team anymore of my emotional capital. I hope they win, I hope they get in, i hope they make some noise come Spring time but I'm not living and dying on every game anymore.
