dallas is looking better tonight so far against the ducks too. got a feeling they will win. Hawks aren't out of the woodwork yet so they better get the job done up front in the 3rd. like i said though defense has been great.

Hawks are averaging a paltry two goals a game since Sharp went down. Any talk of trading him or any thoughts of letting him walk next season need to be forgotten about immediately. Sheer idiocy. We have like three guys up front that can finish. Pathetic. This team rivals the Devils and Senators in offensive ineptness without Sharp in the lineup.

Who in their right minds have ever mentioned anything about trading Sharp? Ohhh **** no its very apparent the Hawks lack offensive depth with him out esp when guys like Frolik cant finish brouwer goes invisible and guys like Kruger are dressing when they ar at least 2 years away from nhl readiness.



But with all due respect Smith did play well tonight. sure many were rioght on the chest but his positioning was great.

I saw at least two open nets tonight that the Hawks just couldn't fucking finish. It's like nobody up front knows how to ELEVATE THE FUCKING PUCK. When the goalie is out of position, why are you putting the puck along the fucking ice where defensemen can get sticks on it, and where the goalie has a chance to get it? BURY IT HIGH. They are making it EASY on the opposing goalie. Make him glove the fucking thing or have to swat it out of the air, instead of just sliding his pad across the ice.



For ****'s sake.



Frolik, Stalberg, Bickell, Brouwer, Dowell, Johnson, Pisani, Kopeccky, all choke artists when the game is on their stick. The pucks our depth guys were burying last year, are pucks these guys are shooting into defensemen or the goalie's chest. The Hawks need themselves some FINISH next season. Preferably some FINNISH(flash).

So you're telling me these guys simply either don't want to elevate the puck or don't have the skill set to do so, well that explains everything. Everyone on the team knows where to shoot to score goals, that's how they made the NHL, it's not an easy thing to do in front of the net while people are hacking at you.

It was only 13 saves but still another wasted effort by Crawford tonight. Not looking at the stats, but it seems like we have been shut out alot this season.

Frolik tried to lift a puck in the 2nd and got absolutely robbed. That's the only time I can remember when someone had a chance to lift a puck. Everything else was right into a stick or a leg. Or in Toews' case right into the crest. Doesn't help either when your point men(Keith) shoot it right into a forward's legs EVERY FUCKING TIME. When Sharp comes back Keith should give up his A to him until he gets his head out of his ass.



Not saying Keith caused the loss by any means; they lost as a team, for sure. But, it's really frustrating when a Norris winner plays the way he has for the majority of the year. It can't be fatigue, his mistakes are normally of the mental type.

Keith is just downright frustrating to watch. If you hadn't watched him play the last few seasons, you'd laugh if someone told you he was the Norris winner last season.... He's been that bad. Just poor, poor decisions.
