You didn't heat it from me, but Toews is nowhere near 100% healthy.

C'mon, Stu....do we REALLY have to answer that question?

I would have started Scott too. As well as many of the folks I talked too after the game would have. At some point your going to have to get some physicality in there.

Why did we lose to Boston? The Bruins banged the complete shit out of a tired team in the first period, similar to what we should have done last night. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of guys that play physical.

FYI I'm not a huge Scott fan but he has done NOTHING to hurt this team while being on the ice. So the stupidity of those not ever wanting to play him is just that, stupid.

Last night was another good opportunity to have his 6-8 minutes on the ice. Same thing for having Turco in net.

Yea I know. I was trying to hint towards that without hinting.

BUT THERE ARE NO FUCKING EXCUSES!!!

I will add these guys are not packing it in. They want to win. Kane is 1pt from 300, while a personal acheivement he wanted to hit it last night with his family or several of them, in the building.

Dude seriously, No one can ever make a comment on something with out getting ripped. High horse, LOLOL. I wouldn't start on that. This is from someone who thinks everything he says is correct. LOLOLOLO! and everyone else is wrong. please man. I new hockey a year ago or so? hmmmm then 1990 when I started watch the Hawks was just a vivid imagination. Just wanted to know when you gave up Nascar for hockey.

Why not give credit where credit is due?

Smith had an incredible game against us and defensively the Lightning had our number.

Thank you. thats all I'm saying. Our players are not gods. They will lose games, the lighting won that game because they were the better team Sunday, just like the Ducks beat us because they were the better team that day. Blaming the Zebras on a consistent basis is a tad bit over done. We need to start looking on an overall basis on how this team can improve for the coming playoffs and what we need to fix for next year. As far as Smith seems like this is becoming a thing with the Hawks, where they can't seem to figure out back ups or Goalies which haven't played in a year or so. OK as far as RK's saying on Toews being tired, I can understand that and he is correct. But where are our other so called CORE top money $$$ players. Our captain can not carry this team on a regular basis. One being Browy, I feel he has been the biggest disappointment. one player alone liky browy, is accounted for at 17 goals that is not on the board that we are missing. that state alone is killing us.

I'm a Campbell fan but tell me what his 7.5 mil contract gives us that Campoli's 1.5 doesn't. I don't see a difference in play at all.

They have got to do everything possible to moving that contract come summer.

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner.

Not really? I can't remember one great save he made. The Hawks as they have many games year shot it directly into him, had no traffic in front of him, and missed the net NUMBEROUS times once again.

The offense was not good last night. Now you can give the lightening credit for clogging the zone, sitting back and taking what we gave them, and "luckily" scoring on one of their PP's, in which we did not.

I don't buy that was a goalie win last night at all. In fact I don't think I've seen more than 1-2 of those against us this year. Luongo comes to mind the last game the Canucks played at the UC. That, was a goalie win.

Acco, it's called a discussion of the game. It's trying to find out or describe things that didn't go right. Everything mentioned once again was a CONTRIBUTING FACTOR. If you'd like to move on, don't join a message board where it's actually discussed after the game. It's no different when they win, verses when they lose. It's a fucking message board and thats what it's for.

Since you've been a fan of the 90's and are so knowledgable can you tell me how many times the Hawks have won a game Tim Peel officiated in? At least two of us that have watched the game longer than you were sperm made that comment. Neither of us "blamed" the loss on it but made a fucking OBSERVATION.

I agree, Campoli's game is similar but he does'nt quite have the skating skills as Campbell, but is more physical and shows more grit.

It would take a miracle to get someone to take Campbells contract, without having to take a bad contract back in the deal.

Collectively pray the new owner in Buffalo wants a new Captain!

From what I've seen in Campolis comments he likes Chicago. I'm wondering if we can make him an offer to keep him here. With that said it has to be an active summer for Stan, our 3rd and 4th lines are in need of some tweaking.

I'll give as much credit to Smith as I would to Emery for holding the Hawks to 1 goal last Sunday. Since then Emery has allowed 13 goals in 4 games. The Hawks put up 2 goals and a Garon gift against Columbus while the Blues chased him with 4 in the first 40 minutes yesterday.

And now it's on to Montreal and Price(2-5 in his last 7 games).

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Habor? The Hawks seem to respond well when they put their backs against a wall.

Just a reminder folks, they lost to a team that has been in the top 4 in the East for most of the season. It's not like they lost to the Islanders or the Oil. Regardless of what alot of people on here may think, the East is not a pussy conference. IMHO the entire team looked like they were playing hurt. And although Smith has a pretty good record, the Hawks again made a goalie look good by taking poor, low percentage shots.

I thought Kane was our best skater last night. He sure seemed like he wanted it.

Not surprised to hear JT is playing through injury... are there tougher athletes than hockey players? Maybe gymnasts (and no, that is not a joke)...

Seabrook had one of his more physical games as of late... was fun to see.

Fair enough on the bold, and no I don't have the stats on Peels because to be honest with ya, I don't walk around with a blachawk stat book in my pocket. But what are you indicating, Peels has it in on the Hawks. Cause funny when I used to think certain Refs had it in on them, certain people in here thought I was crazy and that would be called fixing games...and NHL would never do that. RK its not that I don't value your points, many of them make sense and I agree with them. But it just gets old when you hear the same thing day in and day out. I mean I'm sure there are certain things that you hear constantly that just erks you.

Do I think the Hawks make playoffs?...I bet 100 bucks they do. There is no way the NHL is going to have a Stanley Cup team that has so much going for the NHL not to mention the draw they get in the playoffs, not make it. I will leave you with this, I think we will all agree that consistency is what is lacked in not just Hawks games, but all around the NHL, which also hurts this team in the standing because of that. But I have come to realize that will not change. This is something this league need to put on top of their to due list for next year if they want this league to get to the status of the Top leagues like the NFL.

RK, please share your in put on that.

While I echo a lot of sentiments here...I have one question:

Why was it Kopecky who got into Kubina's face, and why did it take until the 3rd? I think if the theory of Brouwer being frustrated that Stalberg got bumped over him has any merit, he should have vented his frustration on him. Bickell absent physically as well in a game that, as a team, we should have been out there hitting ANYTHING that was wearing white.

At least Seabrook, like usual, showed up physically in a big way. And Frolik gets a pass on the 4 minute high stick--which IMHO was consolation for Bolland.

Good point. it was a little to late IMO. I think at that point Kopecky was just frustrated that nothing was going the Hawks way and figured Kubina would be the storyline...as far as Brouwer, who knows I have been saying that he is the biggest disappointment by far. Wonder if he will be around next year, with players waiting to come up.
