Everything you mentioned in every game this past season happened, but it happened every once in a while, as your arguement looks good due to the detailed nature of the descriptions, it also has to be looked at beyond face value. Just because there have been times that he has shown those positives, does NOT=him doing it on a consistent basis.

Hossa,Toews, Sharp should not be used as examples as they do this on a much more consistent basis. Those guys are masters of their craft, especially Hossa and Toews on the 2 way play. I am the biggest fan of 2 way players, I think 2 way players that are good at what they do are hard to come by, it is a Red Wings trademark of the past decade and proves to be a success, but to state that he is good at it is a bit over the top IMHO.

When he played top 6 mins, he was awful.

You complain because he was on the 4th line, the same people who complain about this, are the same ones that state "oh LULZ bowman knows more than you, ZOMFG" So I will use that and state that I believe Q knows more than you and all of us, which equals, stalberg being on the 4th line because that is what he is, a 4th liner. I didnt put him on the 4th line coach Q did, he thinks he is a 4th liner. so "lulz" I will take Q's opinion over yours.

Those guys Sharp, Hossa, Toews all started their careers as 2 way forwards. Stalberg didn't have that, he is being developed into that here in Chicago which is why I posted how he was terrible, and then became defensively reliable. I know he isn't on their offensive level, so dont start saying I am comparing them.

I'd like to see a ratio of his top 6 minutes to his bottom line minutes. Then compare those to a Boruwer, and Bickell. Again, he is on the 4th line to develop that defensive game even more along with more physicality. What I complain about 4th line is when people say he sucks because he only had 24 points, due to being on that 4th line.

Also inconsistent happens when players are developing a new style.

but that is what he is. Most 4th line players arent very good.

you need to state that he is a GOOD 4th line player, instead of the generic "he is good and doesnt suck" routine. I dont mind him on the 4th line if they choose to use him.

We will see what the hawks plan to do this year. If Q sees something in him, by all means give it a whirl. I just dont see him fitting in with this 2011-2012 team. If he does make the team, he will probably be a healthy scratch ALOT IMHO. But lets see what happens.

last thing im gonna say on this....

IF stalberg makes the team in camp, there is a reason he did and others didnt

I trust Q over all you other armchair coaches.....he sees something in Stalberg

Agreed. If Q thinks he deserves a spot on the team, I won't argue. He obviously knows more than me.

This is whereI dont agree with the front office and coaching staff. If they are "thinking" Stalberg is their future part of the top 6, then he should be developing that role in Rockford. I don't mind he is learning that defensive game on the 4th line, but if you want that consistent offensive performance he needs to develop that to.

Wow, this thread is full of failure. The fact that this thread was created is pathetic. Even worse... it's 13 pages long.

This guy is a fucking loser nobody. Why anybody wants to talk about his value is beyond me.

mixed messages to the fans happens all the time. look at the cubs and sox bro. franchises make us think one thing, and they do something else. I dont know what their plan is for him, they do, i dont. who really knows? know what i mean?

If you are thinking high on Stalberg and then ripping on me, you certainly are.

Keep it up, fattie!
