Also when I say its his 2nd full season, but you say 117 games, which really turn out to be less games than I say he's actually played.

Yeah that's a good point. And maybe that also proves that this might not be the place for Stalberg. Just like Philly wasn't the place for Sharp.

He was the 4th line center. It was also well known Ken Hitchcock didn't like young guys on the roster. The example even goes to Columbus when their young star left to play in the KHL because Hitchcock told him the veterans deserve his playing time, even though he is out-performing them.

Way to not answer anything I asked. Examples show it took Sharp time to develop. Tim thomas took lots of time to develop.

This is basically what I think about Stalberg and yet you're one of the guys arguing with me. I'm saying that right now he hasn't done much and he might be good and just take longer to develop, but he could also end up being worthless.

How is he useless, He became reliable defensively, He learned to be more physical and knock people off the puck? Again this is how the Hawks wanted him to develop with his size. They want him to be a physical presence, mix that with his speed and he "could" turn into a hell of a forechecker.

Well i guess you want stats, but you wont again allow me to use stats

anyway......again. speed should never be confused with skating abilty, his hands are horrible, he has no skill on shots, let alone good shot selection, often left in no mans land or in bad positions that lead to him getting off a bad shot.

Will stalberg always suck? dont know
Does stalberg have potential? yes
does stalberg suck currently? yes
