havent done keto for a long time though..
I don't think all react the same. Popular thinking would tell you it's due to the lack of fiber but I don't see it as problem anyway. Think Rogan said he had it for the first 2 weeks and said next time he does carnivore, he'll include meat and fruits... which doesn't sound very carnivore.

Guess rogan is keto carnivore with da fruits i suppose. guess it comes down to what version of carnivore ppl are doing dependant upon their goals. some peeps just want all animal products, some restrict themselves to beef, salt n water and no carbs etc.

when i did keto.. i ate meats, but its focus wasnt heavy.. got my fats n protein in various way... but i would add fiber rich complex carbs trying to offset the carb totals.. i didnt eat meat some days, maybe just a lot of eggs with various fatty oils to raise me fats/cals

technically ive been doing keto carnivore nowz.. there are minimal carbs in cheese and there are possible minimal carbs in mince via fillers used in the manufacturing of said beef mince. i could mince me own if i cared that much about it..

chicken days are close to 0 carb.. with cracked pepper not anymore.. so maybe im hovering around 0.1-2g of carbs per day. in me head it might as well be 0, but in reality its not.. i dont think zero carb will be the goal.. i like mince.. and i like pepper to balance me salts, 3even though my salting is heavier now and there is no balance.. plus i will introduce various other spices in the future as well.. i can go without cheese or find even lower carb/sugar cheeses... but im carnivore focused

The time Rogan did it, he didn't eat fruits and claimed many benefits came for him with going carnivore. It was the shits that made him say next time he would include fruits (for the fiber) but that's way too much sugar to still call it carnivore unless he's just thinking a few berries here and there. Seen others advocate that.

yeah.. i say do what works for you eh. what is today... day 8?... first craving.. mushrooms of all thangs .. was making dinners for the fam and remembered how meaty they are.. a past faux meat of mine tempting me...

still no meat shit cleasing ppl....

8 days isnt long enough to get a sense of if i want to go stricter or lax into keto keto wif less meats n some carbs.. need 30 maybe 60 days to get a good look n see how me body responds

i could cheat tomorrow... take the roast bird breasts and saute in butter and hit it with some lil franks red.. some pan buffalo chicken.. it would be cheating right.. like 1carb for every teaspoon so like 5-8 carbs on the lower flavor side. ... old keto fav..

I think when you decide to do carnivore, you have to also decide to forget about carbs altogether. Depending on how long you do it, might be interesting to see how you feel after going a few days with much more protein than fat vs how you feel with more fat than protein or how. Could also change up the quality of the meat and maybe just stick to the best type grass fed/grass finished meat you can get for a few days. Think it's easier to stick with these type things when you change it up and experiment on your own. How about a 3 day sardine fast?

yeah me steak is grass fed... the mince is grass fed but supplemented fed too, plus 80/20.. not that pricy at all. my whole chickens and their eggs are free range... they whole free rang birds are probably living in one of those mobile cages in a field for all i know, but def way tastier than a standard factory bird. still just dry brine with salt but now that im re-rendering the skin for a second time i passed it up last cook for a short salt so the skin stays fattier and softer.

dont really care about free range eggs vs caged ones.. tastes the same to me but i buy them from a local.

will eventually rotate other meats........... just on a program atm and like my routine... monotony wont make me quit.. already bookmarked 30-60 days... nearly a 1/3rd in to 30 and i kind of feel like i havent even started yet.. guess being omad for months going through different programs of omnivore foods that i would stick to for a week or 2 helped.. adapting to a new routine and the mentals didnt miss a beat.. but those fucking mushrooms m8..

as easy as 9 days has been. day 9 was the easiest.. did me shopping a day early and thought why not throw one in.. ribeye is me favorite cut of steak, but i havent eaten one for a while.. yeah i see why certain carnivores eat that everyday. overpriced fatty ribeye in bacon fat wif fried eggs... was its 25 dollars better than me burger over hash beef.. not really.. cause burgers are one of me fav things since childhood.. but it was a nice curve ball..

What about the beer diet?

Try it and let us know how it goes. Such as, are there any noticeable side effects to only drinking bud light as opposed to other brands?

I like the carnivore diet. First couple weeks are tough if you are addicted to carbs.

I am modifying it a bit. Once a day i eat either veggies or fruit. Other than that its organic bone broth, some organic chicken, or grass fed beef.

That's literally an omnivore diet.
except I am not eating processed food which is a big aspect of it. 90%+ of my calories come from meat. I eat about 50 calories from fruit just to keep from craving sugar. Eventually the fruit intake will disappear.

Eliminating processed food is a great thing to do, but if you are eating meat and veg it's not a carnivore diet.

I dgaf what anyone calls it. The carnivore diet has bone broth as part of the diet. Bone broth has vegetable matter in it, its still technically "The Carnivore Diet."

Ps, I don't have any ailments that would drive me to only eat meat, but what are the stats on how a meat diet affects the micribiome? And I'm not talking about the claims it "resets" the gut or fixes leaky gut...

Bro I wasn't talking about what kind of vegetable bone broth you buy, you said you eat vegetables or fruits once a day, and that is something a carnivore does not do. Sharks do not eat spinach or apples bro.

Carnivores will eat the stomach matter of animals they digest which does include plant matter. It doesn't mean they aren't carnivores. Also, carnivores do indeed eat plants occasionally but they don't get enough nutrients from plant matter to survive.

I think you're really grasping here so I will just let you intentionally eat vegetables daily, but I'll just pretend that you only eat meat, so we don't have to continue this back and forth.

Most of these fad diets get newcomers to be stoked about how they feel in the first while. Eliminating processed food is going to do that. We live in a world of extremes, and the pendulum swings hard.
