He said he wasn't happy the last 3-4 seasons in Chicago. Well, if we say 4 years, then 3 of those were with Lovie and Toub. One of those was with Mike Tice as the OC. A man who is now one of Devin's coaches in Atlanta

ok?

Hester just a kid in a mans body is all. Real reason he wasn't happy is cause he wasn't getting his return TDs

Exactly, he will be doing plenty of interviews over the weekend and I Gaurntee he'll make mention of the bears after he has some time to reflect on it. He's an emotional dude and wears his heart on his sleeve. I take zero offense to his post game interview, he wasn't happy and that's completely fine, he had his personal reasons for that and I'm in no position to judge those.

Tim Jennings retweet.

Is Jennings offended by Devin? Or agreeing with Devin?

Hey look, Hester gave more to the Bears in his time here than the Bears gave to Hester. He is THE reason we went to the Superbowl. Yes, the D was top-notch, but he set the team apart and changed the game - ALL FROM SPECIAL TEAMS. Congrats Hester!

Meatball alert!

The Bears paid a return specialist as a #1 WR. That qualifies as the Bears giving him a ton. He had 4 Return TDs in the last 3 seasons with the Bears. He also had 10 fumbles.

Lets live in reality.

Face it. Devin's returns got more exciting over the last few years because you were on the edge of your seat. Was he going to return it? Was he going to **** up the fair catch? Was he going to run backwards? Was he going to fumble?

The risk/reward became more risk than reward. Especially at $3M when there were so many other holes to fill. $3m is a luxury that just couldn't be spent on a returner who will touch the ball (assuming touchbacks and punters kicking away from him) maybe 4-5 times a game.

the last person that ran their mouth like this was DJ Moore....and his career promptly ended over the course of that season

Why are people acting like that? Hester got lazy and not good last year. Change of scenery helped him.
Always said he needed to be knocked down a peg. He'd never do this as a Bear. He can go **** himself. I have no love for a Falcon player.

This is a good point. Remember when he was hinting at retirement after Lovie was fired?

Hopefully he gets some clarity in the next day or two.

So he enters the HOF as an unhappy Bear or a happy Falcon?
