I haven't gotten one yet. I'm guessing you find them on the main quest?

Nope all you gotta do is find a Daedric shrine. You can see some on your compass, and some are hidden inside cities. Remember in Oblivion how you could get the soul gem Azura's Star from Azura's shrine, and the Skeleton Key from Nocturnal? All of those are in this game as well.

Right now I'm level 34, One-handed, heavy armor, archery, sneaking, fire breath dragon shouting son of a *****.

Is there a level cap in this game?

I got that star. I'm not sure what to do with it though.

I think I'm level 35 or 36. 100 blacksmith. Mid 90s in archery. High level in heavy armor, two handed weapons and I can't remember what else. I love that storm shout.

I think the level cap is 80. Im watching Illinois play and it's making me sick. Since I'm using espn on Xbox I might just switch over to Skyrim.

I might just stay in this thread and never leave. I completely forgot how bad some of these posters are when it comes to sports...they got one hell of an off topic mind though.

I think my 2nd playthrough will be much more fun than my first. I'll know which classes I want to level and focus on. In this playthrough I didn't really know what I wanted to be until about level 20 or so. Contemplating starting over, but I don't want to lose all my weapons, armor, shouts and spells.

What race did you guys pick to start out as? Just wondering how the other races are in the game. I always pick Nord. I like having the 50% resistance to frost.

I'm not sure. It'd be tough for a non-RPG guy to jump into the genre. But if there was a RPG to jump into, it'd be this one. I say give it a rent, and if you like it, go for it. It's worth the $60 for sure.

I picked Nord as well. When I'm all done I might start over and try maybe one of the elves and go the magic route.

So I was playing last night and I was outside of this one cave and I heard this random clinging sound. I look around and I see this skeletal hand rolling down a hill... It was depressing because I thought about Cutler.... Oh and my characters name is Lance Briggseous.

Yeah I was thinking about choosing Dark Elf next. They're beasts at destruction magic.

Just finished the quest line for the Companions. Woah.

Awesome name, even if I'm a Packer fan :)

So apparently there's a max level exploit with the Oghma Infinium book you get for doing Hermaeus Mora's daedric quest. If done properly you can get 100 on the majority of your levels.

I started over, didn't like my character build. Wish I would have worked on smithing earlier. Want to get more into spells too. Still picked Nord though... :shifty: Made it to level 41 and the game became almost unplayable. On the PS3 once your save file size gets up over 12 MB, the game becomes extremely laggy and the framerate is unbearable. Thankfully a patch is coming next week.

I heard about the PS3 bugs... that's pretty stupid.

I'm level 38, 1 hand destructive magic, 1 hand sword. Loving every second of it, especially with enchanting at 80+ and smithing at 100. My armor/weapons are insane.

I'm going to finish every questline with this character and then put the game down for awhile (which should still take a month or two). Then, I'm going to buy the game next summer, during a PC steam deal, for the PC and start a new character with all of the sexy mods that PC offers :)

Bought a 360 just for this on Black Friday. Went with the Wood Elf since I never use Magika and melee combat bores me after awhile. I'm only a few hours in the game but it's basically everything and more I was expecting.

Enjoy, it's awesome :)

I've spent 50+ hours in the game and can't wait for the next 50+ hours... (and I've barely touched the main quest!!!!)

I must have left my game on at some point because it says I played 125 hours. I have no clue how much I've played this game

I'm curious what the DLC will be for this game. Any holes in any of the story lines that could branch off?

1. The Thalmor obviously could have a DLC that deals with them.

2. I think the Redguards could have a DLC that takes you to Hammerfell. The Alik'r warriors were present for a quest in Skyrim, and there were mentions of locations in Hammerfell.

3. There was a video a while back that showed someone on a PC disable clipping and they walked all the way to Morrowind. The terrain matched a low resolution copy of what it was like in TES3, complete with the island and minus the buildings and cities, just terrain. They also walked to Cyrodiil and the Imperial City island was present as well. Strange that Bethesda would put those in for no reason...or maybe they do have a reason.

4. Something about the Dwarves. Before TESV everybody thought having dragons wouldn't make sense because they were "extinct". More likely TESVI would have Dwarves instead of DLC for TESV.
